Rate my Platinum team

    Yeah, I restarted my Platinum and built a new team. I added quite some bulk as well, as some of you told me to when I posted my BW team.
    Just the regular "rate my team" post before I head to the league (I mean, the Victory Road)...
    I haven't decided on items as well.

    Empoleon Lv 51, Naive
    Aqua Jet
    Brine (forgot to get Ice Beam TM before, getting it later)
    Waterfall (just for HM, replacing with Surf later)
    Flash Cannon

    Crobat Lv 54, Adamant
    Wing Attack
    Cross Poison
    Confuse Ray
    Bite (Too bad Crobat can't Crunch :P)

    Houndoom Lv 54, Docile
    Thunder Fang
    Flamethrower
    Crunch
    Bite (I don't know what to replace this with!)

    Lickilicky Lv 54, Naive
    Power Whip
    Wring Out
    Surf (planning to replace with Refresh or other moves)

    I'm not totally against using legendaries, I just never use those monstrously strong ones like Giratina. Azelf is just like a normal pokemon to me.
    So, any improvements on moves or any ideas on items?

    Snorlax is better than Lickilicky. A Brave one would be best.

    Well...Lickilicky could do something Special while Snorlax can't (it's specialized in physical attack)
    BTW I like Lickilicky for Power Whip.

    Now that I consider Lickilicky's significance is mainly physical, I am thinking of adding Snorlax instead. It's got Seed Bomb in Pt anyway.

    (I don't want to waste its high Attack honestly...but it hasn't got many Physical options except Explosion.)

    Hmmmm... it's pretty good! But don't replace Hydro Pump with grass knot. Hydro pup is the second strongest water move.
     
    Replace Hydro Pump as Grass Knot gives more variety than two water moves and Surf is much better than Hydro Pump (which you already have).

    @Maximum, moves aren't all about power, you need to factor in accuracy and PP also.
     
    Yeah, I agree, I always prefer Surf over Hydro Pump...but sometimes I'm a bit worried about power.
    Anyway I'm smashing Aaron with my overleveled Pokemon at the moment.
    Just that I'm a bit worried about Bertha's Whiscash as it's not heavy enough for Grass Knot to hit hard.
     
    it will still hit hard x4 weakness its gonna hit hard
