Um you did have Bronzong to take ice attacks :P There are so many steels that make better ice resists than Wall-rein. Put a special wall over it...you don't have one ._.
Bronzong and Walrein were my special walls.Although you make it sound like they're not special walls when they are walls.

Walrein is not a good special wall. Hello Thunderbolt and Focus Blast Weakness! Hello no useful resistances outside of Ice and maybe Fire! In other words Walrein just doesn't cut it. It is a special wall, it just isn't a very good one. Oh, did I mention Grass Knot will OHKO it from anything with decent special attack?

Bronzong is pretty challenged itself at special walling. No weaknesses and tons of resistances helps, but not resisting things like ghost, dark, fire, bug, and especially water work against it. For example, Starmie will 3HKO it with STAB surf, which isn't even supereffective and Starmie's special attack is very very average for a special sweeper.

As in, if you run in to something like sims' Nasty Plot Raichu, both of your "special walls" are going to die. Remember that (besides sims :P) nobody even uses Raichu in OUs, just imagine what more powerful OU pokemon like Infernape, Roserade, Zapdos, Azelf, and Gengar will do :0

So they really aren't GOOD special walls, sorry.

It's saddening but not heartbreaking.Should I replace one of them with Ludicolo? It has high HP and a special defense boosting nature with Leech Seed and Protect.Bronzong has no weaknesses?I thought it had a fire type weakness.Although this isn't really major, A Flamethrower from a Blissey I faced (Which was EV trained correctly)was a 6HKO for my Bronzong.

When I said Bronzong had no weaknesses, I was thinking ahead and skipped the "except fire" part because I'm a frantic typer.

A GOOD special wall would be something like Snorlax, Regice, Articuno, Cresselia, Grumpig, Hypno, and of course Blissey >.> You can use Cradily in sandstorm too, but that thing is totally overrated and just gets stalled out of its mind anyways.

There aren't many special walls really, Empoleon...yeah, it's tough. You can also use my personal favorite, Registeel, but meh. Articuno can do an awful lot itself, just be sure you have a Rapid Spinner!

Articuno is a good choice because I have Claydol to help by Rapid Spinning away Stealth Rock.I really hope this is a good team.I'm also flattered to be rated by you.You appear to be a great rater.

Um, thanks. ^_^

Beware of my personal bias towards Articuno though, it's one of my favorite pokemon. Still, I do actually use it so it can't be too bad considering 90% of the pokemon I use are OU lol. Articuno needs support beyond a Rapid Spinner. You have to be able to deal with Fire and electric types (fire is basically heatran) so be prepared for that. Claydol works well with Articuno one you throw in something like Vaporeon to beat up on Heatran.

Watch out, Claydol is lower BL (as in so low some people consider UU) and really isn't as good as it was in Advance, and it has lost some power there.

As far as a special wall, Ludicolo is okay but really doesn't cut it. It does have the advantage of almost no harmful weaknesses for special walling, but is plagued by having only one truly useful resistance (water). Ground helps a lot though, but Earthquake can still hurt if it's coming from the right pokemon. Articuno will work as a special wall though as mentioned above. You can still use Ludi, it's just a much cooler special tank/annoyer (the annoyer that actually works ;))

You might want to replace Ludi for a diofferent bulky water since you need a way to take physical fire attacks (Infernape...) and water attacks (Gyarados) and suicune works well for that, are basically any mono water. It also takes Ice Punch from Weavile. something like Blastoise/Vaporeon/Milotic/Suicune would really help.

Then again I'm very tired so I'll edit this out in the morning in case I said something stupid >.>

Can Salamence count as something that can kill off Infernape? Grass Knot bounces off the dragon and Flare Blitz and Close Combat also are very weak and suicidal against the dragon.Nasty Plot in my opinion, is rarely set up.So can Salamence fight Mixape?Gyarados in most cases is handled. The Waterfall and Earthquake is dead weight against Salamence considering Gyarados is supposedly OHKOed by Draco Meteor.Weavile however, is a nerve wrecker.Only Skarmory can stand up to it.(Bronzong and Walrein were removed)Although this might not count, Claydol has Earthquake to slaughter Heatran which is a...2HKO.Skarmory ensures the 1HKO though with all the spikes set up or 1 layer of spikes.

Nasty Plot Life Orb'd Flamethrower, 2hko's it, so just be careful, they sometimes pack HP ice aswell, Starmie, Tentacruel, etc are amongst the best all around counters for it..........

Gyarados gets ice Fang AND Stone Edge <<Just pointing that out =p

Yes, but Claydol cannot switch in on a repeated Fie blasts.....

Skarmory ensures the 1HKO though with all the spikes set up or 1 layer of spikes.

Skarm is fine against Vile....

Nasty Plotted Flamethrower....Most of them so far have not had HP Ice for me.I have played Shoddy too.Salamence is faster then Gyarados and can 1HKO with Draco Meteor even if it doesn't get killed,it can still be walled and Whirlwinded by Skarmory even if Waterfall hits 2 times.Ice Fang and Stone Edge are small problems to me thanks to Skarmory so that's basically good.Weavile really wrecks my nerves still. Why? Because I faced a Weavile on Wi-Fi and Ice Beam got a critical hit 2 times by the Ice Beam and a freeze on my remaining Skarmory.I'm tormented by being beaten by such a lucky noob.Fire Blast from Choice Scarf Heatran cannot really hurt if Salamence switches in after something faints.Hydro Pump, however, can 1HKO a Heatran.

I know its rare, but it needs mentioning.

Gyarados has Taunt which basically makes Skarmory useless, so you cant heal OR whirlwind it away. it then DD'S up about 90 times and takes pitiful damage from your attacks and wasted the rest of your team

Gyarados@leftovers
212 HP / 16 ATT / 180 DEF / 100 SPEED
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
- Taunt
- Dragon Dance

What can your team do to this, NOTHING....

Salamence is not faster than Gyarados after a Dragon Dance either.

Weavile with ice Beam ?? =/ I hope you meant ice Punch. Freeze is like a 10% chance of happening, so dont worry about it.

Fire Blast from Choice Scarf Heatran cannot really hurt if Salamence switches in after something faints.Hydro Pump, however, can 1HKO a Heatran.

Heatran is not going to be staying in on mence, Fire Blast does hurt, whats to say that that heatran isnt Life Orb'd or Specs'd ? Mence gets 2hko'd by both using Fire Blast, and god forbid if it predicts and uses either Dragon pulse or HP ice, then your screwed.

Yeah, comments in bold, needs more Starmie IMO, takes out Ape and Dos, spins, so you can remove Claydol for a PROPER Special wall.

I still cant believe teams are heading into battles without a special wall, especially when stuff like specs mence is around..... Who puts lovely dents into this team btw, so yea, fix it.

I'm am not mistaken when I said an Ice Beaming Weavile.I said that.I seriously faced one on Wi-Fi.I still remember when I faced that noob. His Staraptor's Close Combat barely did anything to my EV trained Skarmory. But luck just had to interfere with my could have been win.He got like 3 critical hits and froze me so that I could Roost.Leftovers couldn't keep up.Although if a Gyarados leads and my Salamence doesn't switch in,(It's already facing Gyarados)then Gyarados just rots from Draco Meteor.
I'll breed a Starmie but it'll take some time.

Coverage isnt all too important, facade's base power double to 140 with status conditions and gets a 1.5 guts moost, making a mighty 210. Thats almost explosion-level kiling there. It's seriously great, i recommend you try it out.

I have to second this notion. As a big Hariyama user I must say that Facade/Flame orb/Guts can end most strategies.
