Hi. Kinda new here and in competitive battling, but I want to start being more active in both so I decided to get feedback on my first competitive team. It is UU/NU Pokemon only. The only major issue I can see right now is that I have 5 Special Attackers and 1 Physical Attacker. Might be a bit of an issue. Anyways, here is the team:
Drifblim
Aftermath
4 Hp, 252 Sp Attack, 252 Speed
Modest
Wise Glasses (To boost her Special Attack)
Calm Mind (To boost Special Defense and Special Attack. Mainly for the Attack Boost.
Hypnosis (I like using the Sleep Status)
Shadow Ball (STAB Attack)
Psychic (Secondary Attack
Clefable
Magic Guard (Why use Cute Charm over this?)
252 Hp, 252 Sp Attack, 4 Speed
Modest (Shiny!)
Toxic Orb (To Prevent Status. She is immune to the Damage thanks to Magic Guard)
Moonlight (Healing)
Aromatherapy (To remove Status from Party)
Signal Beam (Attack)
Psychic (Attack)(Aside from Hyper Beam, are there any good Normal Special Attacks Clefable can learn?)
Ninetales
Flash Fire
4 Hp, 252 Sp Attack, 252 Speed
Modest (Shiny!)
Wide Lens (To boost Hypnosis' Accuracy)
Flamethrower (STAB Attack)
Energy Ball (Secondary Attack)
Hypnosis (I love Sleep)
Nasty Plot (Boost Sp Attack)
Sceptile
Overgrow
4 Hp, 252 Sp Attack, 252 Speed
Modest
Leftovers
Energy Ball (STAB Attack)
Dragon Pulse (Secondary Attack)
Synthesis (Healing)
Grasswhistle (Sleep)
Mesprit (Lead)
Levitate
4 Hp, 252 Sp Attack, 252 Speed
Modest
Focus Band (1 in 10 chance to survive any hit with 1 Hp. Better than Choice in my opinion.)
Stealth Rock (Pretty Helpful Start)
Psychic (STAB Attack)
Ice Beam and ThunderBolt (Pretty Good Coverage)
and my Physical Attacker:
Kangaskhan
Scrappy (Hits Ghosts with her Normal and Fighting Attacks)
252 Hp, 252 Attack, 4 Speed
Fake Out (Free Hit)
Drain Punch (Recovery Attack)
Return (STAB Attack)
Earthquake (Secondary Attack)
I don't really have a battle plan. Like Commedia dell'Arte, my battle plan is mostly Improv with a few things that generally always happen. Mesprit sets up Stealth Rock, Ninetales and Drifblim set up and then attack (Generally, sometimes they can just skip to Attacking,) the people with Sleeping Moves tend to put opposing Pokemon to sleep, and Clefable clears status (When needed.) So please, if you want to, rate, review, give information on how to improve. Thank you!
