Me: I couldn't find the battery. I'm not sure why you asked me to look for it - I never use the camera.

Dad: I DON'T LIKE YOUR ATTITUDE! JUST LOOK AROUND FOR IT!

*headbang* And I wasn't even talking to him - I was talking to Mum.

Wow. He should have known that you weren't talking to him. That is no reason for him to yell at you like that. I guess he really wanted you to find the battery. But how would you know where it is if you don't use the item that is used for.

Yeah sometimes parents can misunderstood things too, but everyone is human. No one is perfect. Still love them the way they are. :)

I understand where your dad's coming from, exactly, if you actually DID say "I'm not sure why you asked me to look for it" because that phrase in of itself (even if said sweetly) has really snarky undertones.
