    Go to the guy who was crankey and ask him to teach you how to catch a pokemon then fly to cinnabar island and swim on the right cost and when a gold bat appears on level 158 catch it then level it up with rare candeys not battle or it will revert to level 100 or catch missinome dont level up past 255 or it will evole to a ckangestkong and will be on level 100.

    You need to edit the ROM, and expand the data size given to levels, so that it doesn't exceed the 255 value and overflow. To do this, plug the game into the cd drive of your computer (it should be able to read the the plastic, as it has a high-integrity laser), open up the game with Notepad and fix the location for Missigno's Level. Put a 0 before FF (the hex code for 255) and then save the file. Pull the game out of your computer and plug it back in. If it doesn't work, then the save file was corrupted and you'll have to start a new game, although your starter will be able to exceed lv100. Or you could always give it an Everstone.

    So you know, every time you go to post a new thread, check that there is no sticky thread already devoted to discussion of that topic - as there usually is.

    how do I pug red in to the cd drive .red is square and cd's are circle
