Just a thought I had tonight while browsing the forums. With all the regions in the Pokemon RPG now does anybody else miss the original Kanto?

I remember buying FireRed after a long time of playing other titles and feeling more familiar and at home in the Kanto region than in any other. Maybe it's because I played Red and Yellow over and over, so I knew that region the best, but who knows.

So, do any of you guys ever miss good old Kanto, or have you moved on?

Well, I got that feeling at first, but then it just faded away. My favorite region is Johto, and I honestly would have preferred going there instead. So yeah, I moved on.

Kanto will always be my home but I alway feel the urge to travel outside of it, I like all the regions for different reasons

    They're all good!
But yeah kanto was pretty good but i did get kinda tired of seeing it over and over

I do miss it a bit. FR/LG triggered that, but it's not so bad at this point. Though sometimes I get insane cravings for the old Jhoto, which is when I pull out my age-old copy of Crystal and my age-old GBA... Just somehow it was more fun in its own way, back when we had no world-wide-Wi-Fi, no insane worries about EVs/IVs that forced you to want to specifically train your Pokemon, and everything as so simple...

I sort of moved on, but not totally... I'm more into the jhoto region because it was really fun with the interesting legend stories. It also connect to the kanto region, so g/s/c was a big pokemon game. :) They should make a remake of g/s/c!

Well said, I agree totally. I sort of started off playing Diamond thinking "Wow, battling world-wide omg!" Then realised I didn't have the time to devote to doing that stuff. So now it's just collecting, which really is fine by me.

Johto was also another favourite, heck I even love Sinnoh. I'd like to see a remake of G/S/C also, definitely. FR/LG were so well done and I'd like to see it again.

    Great feedback everyone :)
