Me and my friend play with old cards and he has a rgigigas x. Its poke power sacrifice says choose a basic pokemon on your bench and it is knocked out and heal 80 damage from regigigas.

He claims I don't get a prize card but I say I do. Who is right plaza help.

Any time a card effect uses the phrase "Knocked Out", it counts as Knocking Out that Pokemon and you do, in fact, take a prize. The only time you wouldn't take a prize for knocking something out is if a card specifically says that you don't take a prize when it is knocked out, or if the card doing the knocking out has an effect saying not to take a prize. Since Regigigas Lv. X does not specifically say "Do not take a prize for any Pokemon you knock out in this way.", you do take a prize when using its ability.
