Which region do you think has the strongest starters?

I would have to say Hoenn because of Swampert and Blaziken! Swampert=my love :D

    Johto, no doubt.

Because they were the best starters:

    Chukorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile,

    Quilava, Bayleef, Crconaw,

    Typhlosion, Meganium, Feralligatr,

I mean, they were just amazing designs compared to ever other Pokemon other than Espeon and seeing as Eevee isn't a starter...

Strongest? Well, the strongest starters are probably Infernape (best sweeper of that lot) and Empoleon (one of the few walling pokémon who can still do their thing in the D/P environment), so that would be D/P. Before all the metagame changes, Hoenn starters ruled the block, though. :3 (I mean come on, Swampert was one of the basic things a good team needed to counter back then, when we did not have all this Choice Specs, Life Orb and STAB physical Dragon Claw business. Sceptile used to be an awesome subseeder before they screwed it over with Choice Scarf and physical Leaf Blade too. <.<)

As for personal biases...I'd say the Johto crew, because of Feraligatr. Bulky physical sweep. <3

I've always seen Hoenn having the best lineup of starters put together. Otherwise Sinnih, just because of Infernape

The Kanto starters were absolutely horrible. The Sinnoh starters were actually designed to be WAY more powerful in battling. Hoenn has some of those capabilities, but not as good as Sinnoh's. Empoleon's part Steel gives it 4x Resistance to Ice attacks with resistance to Sandstorm for Sp. Attack which is very uncommon on Sandstorm teams. Infernape wrecks teams without a proper counter and Torterra resists both Ground AND Rock moves

jhoto starterz are actauly very good in uu/bl metagame, I love useing them too

I cant choose between Kanto, Johto and Hoenn.

Kanto: Bulbasaur & Charmander are great! Not as fond of squirtle though.
Johto: Cyndaquil evolves into my favorite pokemon. Totodile is wacko. (In a very good way) Chikorita ruins it horribly though.
Hoenn: So i herd i liek mudkipz. Torchic and Treecko aren't amazing but their evos are so I have to keep 'em in contention.

Just for the Typhlosion factor, I'll vote johto.

Hoenn has the strongest starters (blaziken<3 and swampert) (haven't played D/P)
But Johto has the coolest. As long as you don't have to use Meganium, it's a cuuute pokémon ;) and Typhlosion's pretty good.
