2nd Gen Remake of Crystal would be AMAZING

Okay . . . the first games were Red and Green released in Japan. Then Blue came. Red and Green was then released in USA as Red and Blue. The only thing they had in common with the jp Blue was the graphics, but they shared Pokémon, dungeon maps and such things with Red and Green. I think there is a Green version in USA, but if there is it was released later and that is the Blue from Japan. FireRed and LeafGreen are remakes of Red and Green, or Red and Blue in USA.

red/green______red/blue
 
They are making a johoto game. from what i hear the games are remakes of silver and gold and they might be called:

GlimeringSilver
ShiningGold

Also they made an event for Celebi and Jirachi
 
I've also heard something about that. Think they said something at bulbagarden forums.
 
I think there will be a remake of Gold but It'll have animations like crystal.

But comeon the ULTIMATE game would be Pokemon game where you start with pikachu and go through all reigions now that will be awesome

Any ways, just to try to clear it up for every one, there have been three remakes of red/green, there's yellow, there's blue(yes blue is a remake), and the FR/LG. Red/Green both had horrible graphics for the pokemon, and then Blue verson was releaced with updated graphics, every one else in the world, got Red and Blue verson with the updated graphics, so there was no point of making a Green verson putside of japan. So Japan did have blue verson, it was just relaced a few years later.

then why didnt they make 32 badges accesible in d/p

i feel ripped off

you pay like 34.95

to battle 8 gyms

the wifi is cool

battle tower is horriible

but id rather have 32 badges than battle tower anyday

yeah it would be awesome, but it would take probably another year or two for them to make three more regions

I think Blue in USA has the same Pokemon as Green. US Blue is the same as jp Green except some changes. They changed graphics and the final dungeon in Red/Green when released in America. And I saw an american Green version on the internet. It's like the jp Blue, I think.

um... that was kind of random. were talking about a remake of crystal, not the ultimate game. (0_o) anyway, bloo, even if they took out battle tower, it would still take years to insert all three regions with all gyms and such
 
I totally agree!!! It seems likely, because they Remade Green and Red. Why not remake the second gen. games? 2 continents is infact better than 1.

if they made emerald that fast witch was the longest game to complete in a year

they can do the other in a about 18 months or so
 
If there is any remake of the Crystal version, I bet it will be on the DS or the Wii...

no kidding. As of now they should wait 2 years before making a remake. People were still thinking about a G/S remake even before D/P came out. And yes 2 is better than one

why doesnt nintendo just spend awhile making a game with kanto johto sinnoh hoenn and the orange islands all in one that would be sweet... If i worked for nintendo i tell everyone to do that.. lol... maybe have all previous starters as starters... BULBASAUR CHARMANDER SQUIRTLE PIKACHU CHIKORITA CYNDAQUIL TOTODILE TREECKO TORCHIC MUDKIP TURTWIG CHIMCHAR PIPLUP. THat would be an ultimate game and the table with the starters would have to be like 20 feet long lol...
 
A remake of the second generation would be awesome! Like everybody said, Nintendo remade the first generation of games so why not release the second generation of games? Not to mention the second generation is one of the best generations ever. I don't really see Nintendo remaking Crystal since they didn't really remake Yellow.

As for the controversy between Red/Blue/Green... I read that Green was released in Japan as the first Pokemon game, but the caves, Pokemon Tower, Siph Co, etc had much more complicated maps, not to mention the fact that many of the Pokemon sprites looked HORRIBLE. If you want to see them, check Pokemon Elite or Serebii. Later, Nintendo released Pokemon Red in Japan with simpler maps and more appealing Pokemon sprites. Nintendo then released Pokemon Red and Blue to the US. Pokemon Blue was supposed to contain all the Pokemon in Green, but it had the same sprites and maps as the Japanese Pokemon Red.

Green was never released in the US and the only way to get it in the US was to have parents in the military, buy it imported, or travel to Japan to get it.

Nope, they released green and red, and then blue as the enhanced version. Then Nintendo changed the location of the pokes and created a new red version.

About the remakes, I think a remake of the second generation is more likely to be of Gold and Silver, because nintendo loves to release two games to get twice the money in some cases.
 
Why would you do a remake of G/S before Crystal? Just because they came first. Crystal is basically the same as them except it has the battle tower, and you can catch both Ho-oh and lugia. It would make more sense to remake Crystal, because it was/is better than the other 2 anyway, although, they could include Latias and Latios as wild etc. That would be cool, and instead go for the Johto - Sinnoh, of Johto - Hoenn.

But if they remake Gold and Silver, they'll have all of the best features from all the games won't they? So it wouldn't matter if they remade Gold/Silver or Crystal really...
