Remakes in PokeSupe?

    So most of us know by now that HeartGold and SoulSilver are on their way. Discuss how you think it'll effect the PokeSupe plot, Pryce, our trio, and everything else.
     
    Since there will most likely be an arc in Pokemon Special based off of those games. I think that there could be some bonding time between the three Johto Dex Holders. I have no idea about what a possible setting is going to be since there is limit information about the games at the moment. I do not know what the Pokemon Special writers are going to do about Pryce either unless this arc will be about time travel or something along the lines.
     
    That there will be some sort of bonding is a given. I mean they have to incorporate the names heartgold and soulsilver to the 2 trainers so yeah. I also want all the holders to meet up. Gold meeting Platinum though is were its at.
     
    Maybe they will locate the manga in the new place from HGSS(like the sevii island from FRLG). I hope that the arc will explain many things about celebi, as its past is really unknown, but I guess the arc will be about a 4th generation legendaries that will somehow be available in HGSS(like Deoxys in FRLG).
     
    I can imagine that Gold and Silver will face conflicts in this arc meaning both internal and external. I also research and looked up both heart and soul and they both have very deep meanings in them besides sounding 'feminine'.

    I also think that this will be the saga where all 13 dex holders meet up though I think that it is not going to just be a sudden gathering though. I think that some of the dex holders will appear in the Platinum arc while the others will appear in the HGSS arc.

    For one, the first names before the actual name tells me the best description of each character, Gold and Silver. From the original G/S/C arc, where we see a boy who is seeking out his own talent that the others have, we found his specialty to breed Pokemon, and how he has heart. It best describes him. And as for Silver, who we originally thought as this antagonist, but only was confused and misplaced. And through all of this, it is shown that he has soul. That's what I find from these remakes. The epitome of both Gold and Silver, having heart and soul, respectively.
     
    Let's say that this girl will be a new character will be a replacement of Pokemon Special then what would her name be since all of the Pokedex holders are named after the video games unless she will be a temporary main character like Wally was. Also it is noted that the protagonist in FRLG and RGBY look different from each other. I do not see how this is any difference and people have yet to give a good explanation on how it differs. Also it is note that the FRLG girl who is was a red skirt and a blue tank top is based off a designed of a girl who was attend to be in the first generation games, but left out for limit space on the Gamboy cartridage. Most of the reasoning was either out of bias or total skepticism. I mean she could be at least designed after the girl from the Pokemon Crystal game even though she might will have a different default name I mean it is possible though. Then again the girl could be a very completely different character, but it is not certain if she is or not.

    I don't think it'll be another Saga with all the 13 pockedex holders. I think this Saga will involve Gold Silver Crystal and the new girl(which could be somehow related to the group) which won't receive a pockedex. I think this saga will make the mystery of Giovanny clearer, and perhaps he'll fight over Sirc on leading TR.
     
    Merged the "pokemon HGSS series thread" with this thread since it seemed like it was more or less garnering the same kind of discussion in each thread.
     
    Since the new girl in FRLG turned out to be Blue in new clothes, the same could happen to Crystal in the manga. Or as someone else said, she could be related to Crys as a sister or something. Or like Mika555 has said, she could be like Wally.

    And to clear the names up for HeartGold and SoulSilver, let's look at this:

    In FireRed and LeafGreen, Red remained Red. The new girl turned out to be Leaf, because Green is the rival (in Japan, Blue for U.S.). Red's name did not turn into FireRed, just Red.

    The same happens in HeartGold and SoulSilver. This new girl will be named Soul, because Silver is the rival. Gold's name will not become HeartGold (it does sound stupid by the way) but stay as Gold.

    It might not always work that way just because that pattern was used in a previous remake does not mean that it will be used again. People just assume the HGSS girl name is 'Soul' because it is on bulbapedia. Bulbapedia is a wikipedia runned site meaning that it is not a reliable source and can be misleading.

    I think we should wait and see what they are going to do with the HGSS girl design in Pokemon Special since we have maybe about another year before this arc begin. Only thing we can do is hope for the best.

    I go to a forum that is closely related to Bulbapedia. The people who work on Bulbapedia are in this forum, and that's where I understood what they were talking about. Heart or Silver can't be her name, because the latter is already taken, and Heart usually associates with Gold.
     
    I REALLY hope Pryce will show up again. He was such an interesting character.

    ^Well, you can't rule out Heart to quickly. I think that it's a pretty name.
     
    There you have it, Mika555. Her name is indeed Soul, the same prefix like they did with Leaf.
