Remember the short-lived comic?

Believe it or not, there was a pokemon comic that was in the Sunday papers...it lasted about a month, I think. It wasn't that good, either...the art was terrible, not anime-ish at all. But the plots were as stupid as they get. Ash, Misty, Brock, and Gary went to school together and it barely had anything to do with pokemon...basically they'd talk to each other and maybe throw in a random pokemon name now and again...the only plot I remember is Ash accidentally catching Misty's Starmie, and that plot lasted three weeks, I think. Anyone else ever see this? It was a disgrace -.-
