Remembering the old PC

Alyssa's first account according to as far back as our first reference go, is Gym Leader Clair I believe... I think that's the first one ^_^; Diana was the most famous (lol and lasted the longest) out of all her accounts.

See the nature of PC back then? The newbs easily dove into just about anything. It's just not like that now. I guess we inheirted that atomsphere was just inherited from PE2K/Serebii and was bound to die afterwards. =( Ah well.

The "Old PC" had the best members, thats all. But they left..... boo hoo for PC <-> we've moved on.

I remember when 22sa first joined and we all yelled at him because he was spaming like he owned the place. After a week or so he became cool >_> But there was teh occasional useless post. It annoyed me too how he climbed to the top posters of PC in a day or two. He was on 24/7... nuts that kid -_-.......... anyway, WHERE THE heII is HE!? He's dissappeared into thin air... not fair

OOH!!!!! I remember the voice thread we had, and Dakota's infamous 1337 BOO ya! that stirred up the place.. I wonder if he still has that saved somewhere? Yea everyone seemed to have a cool voice.. except for me because I never posted it :P

PC's History 2002-2003

November to February: PC's Golden Age #1. Thanks mainly to PE2K members such as Syrus, Dratini (top poster), Zeke, Matt, Cas (art), and Shelz. Intellectual chats also occured, mildly, with the help of StarCaliber. Though, almost 1/2 of all posts on PC were lost through deletion during this time, so it was better then it looks if you check back. 1500-3500 real posts per day counting those deleted.

February to June: Depression #1. PE2K members leaving and serious forum problems occured.

June to Mid-July: PC's Golden Age #2. This time the main contributors were 22sa, Arcanine, tmbjr. Alyssa and Ash also helped very much in the main stream. -- (Half the threads in OC were owned by 22saune.) --Posting activities rose to from 600 throughout June to 1000+ per day in Late June after 22sa got out of school and Ash re-activing his PC account again. XD -- Serebii.net left at the beginning of July, posting activity immediately dropped 400/day, and we couldn't hold PC's activity level anymore seeing as Arcanine and tmbjr stopped posting much, and 22sa became involved in PE2K.

Mid-July to Late August: Depression #2. 100-400 posts per day.

I did return from Vietnam by the end of August but I didn't find the events at PC to be special anymore. So something else can tells us about New PC... :P Oh wait, this is Old PC thread. Bleh. lol.

One thing I found really wonderful at Old PC was it's Art Forum. I felt it was the best thing about PC when I joined. 12k of posts... it looked like heaven! Or a beautiful garden! Seriously.
 
I remember when I was like, never tlaking, I made 200 posts, then there was 22sa with his bajillion posts and lots of avatars, and Abby sticking to the Games section lol, and everyone posting their picture

wow...that's a very detailed history of PC 22sa. It's hard for me to believe that this time last year I was among PC's top 10 posters, what with my posting activity dropping rapidly since Jan-Feb of 2004. It's nice to know I have some sort of lagacy in PC that the recent n00bs might or might not have known about.

I remember that pic...it was during when Kwesi was messing with everyone's accounts. he made Abby the top poster for the day and renamed her "Kwesi's-chan" XD

For all those reletive newbies, there is proof that I used to be much more active than I am now XD
 
Wasn't that an April fools joke? I think thats how I remember it. Nevertheles, I DO remember the strange post count occurances. Kwesi was a naughty admin:P too bad he ain't around as much anymore...

I remember when 22sa used to keep track of posts, and one day, we out-posted PE2K by some amount of posts, and we celebrated like there was no tomorow.. then posts ↓ dropped ↓ again.. lol. Poor us, it was all about the posts back then. I couldn't care less about post counts anymore.

Lol yeah Frostweaver is quite a feminine name I guess... Plus a Casey/Garnet avatar doesn't help XD I did google search once on Frostweaver and some of the first results are water faeries O.o;

And didn't you tmbjr became admin for a day or something as well? ;p
(no it's not April fools because Haruka Chan joined in June along with 22sa and I somewhere along the same month)

I WAS doing one in Spring Break and read 5 months worth of OC... I can resume that if I have the time. LoL but not my fault if I dug up some of you guys' embarassing histories *coughLightningcough*

I remember biosceptic and scythemantis well... I remember how I was being picked on as being stupid by biosceptic for calling a spider a "bug" XD; But now if we have that debate again, I'm sure that I can refute that arguement this time ^_^
 
Those religion vs creation topics were decent until somebody would come in and flame. "WELL EVOLUTION DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, BIBLE IS NUMBER ONE, BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!" Dude, if you want us to take your religion seriously, then insulting people isn't the way to go.

While Frosty had a feminine name, Hitmonarch was masculine. I know I already mentioned numerous times in other threads how I was called "he" a lot :D. Stellarwind, who posted on PC for awhile, has also been mistaken for a girl a few times before. Not sure if on PC ever, but on deviant art.

@Frostweaver: I was an admin for like 5 minutes when Kwesi first modded me, and that wasn't until the first day of the new PC...

members that I used to think were the opposite sex: 22sa, Frostweaver, Shining Arcanine, Mac/Skate Master Tony, SugarAngel[some number]
 
What about the good ol days when the MOTM's use to actually, MEAN something...nowadays it's just the same old thing. I used to look forward to then, now it's like meaningless tradition....

I remember Good ol Syrus, Kenny C (he's still here), Dratini (omg), and what about when ^^NICK^^ v.3.0 was just called ^^NICK^^ with the pikachu avatar...har har

I used to be ^^NICK^^? Never, heh. I evolved, into a better ^^NICK^^^, I think at least... I remember the good old days. From about February-May were the best times at PC. PC was really active, and I was in my prime, kinda. PC has been active latey, but we haven't broke the record since June.

That's not enTIREly true...I mean look at all the votes now, they're the same person every single time...it's like people don't think em through, so I don't both voting anymore...meh

Well, to me voting has always been a popularity contest. I never really supported them in the first place, I just voted because everyone else did and got sick of being told to vote all the time. But now I just don't care. If your gonna vote for people, at least make it once every 3 months. That way it's more... well I can't think of a word, but it's better.

mmhmm... same way vice versa too. Every time someone goes in and say "WELL THE BIBLE DOESN'T MAKE SENSE I MEAN IT'S JUST A <BEEP> BOOK THAT SOME <BEEP> IDIOT WROTE IT'S COMPLETE FICTION DON'T YOU FOOLS UNDERSTAND ROOOAARRR!!!!" the thread gets shot down... If you want us christians to take your theory seriously, at least support yourselves, and at the same time should know at least something about the bible (don't judge that "a book must be fiction" just because it's a book... know something about it first... it's also true for christians to at least know something about Darwin's evolution theory first before debating as well)


Well back when I first joined, the winners of the categories DO differ every month... it was a monthly thing but it still differs quite a bit. Now you know the drill and order of the winners anyway... Kairi, then Arcanine, and so on... >>; and how degrading is it that we have people making multiple accounts to vote for yourself? blah >>;
 
I soo remember the religioun threads.. They where so good because at least then I have a lot to talk about. The debates where good, until some pooy brained child came in and turned it into an argument and *closed* was all I got to see. I'd love to see more debating topics. Are they allowed still? Or is they too many childishism where n00bs state theorem and can't back them up and get flamed and *closed*
