Sadly, that is too true... we're so bad in that category that we get flames out of a discussion of height, or some games in funtime ;_;
 
Um... how sad can people get? Man, some people always have to wreck the fun for others. We should have like a forum, where mods can select who they believe is mature enough to enter and post.. I mean a debating forum.
 
I think it is possible for the admins to add a forum where they can have the posts moderated (meaning approved by the forum's mod before letting it appear)

I really do feel kinda left out now...the vast majority of PC are too immature to handle the word "breast". Someone accused me of being a hentai pervert when I called Prima's breasts large in the Trivia and Games forum. O_o

In some ways I kinda like the religion topics being out. Nobody EVER changes their opinions and they just get out of hand. On TPM, every other topic is religion (actually Christianity because, ya know, that's the ONLY religion :D) and it's so redundant. And the posts are too long. It's actually a little entertaining.
 
Theres a lot of religions. Theres 2 billion christians, which is one third of the population. I respect that they all have their own beliefs, but theres 1 religion I absaloutly dispise. I won't mention it though because I'l get flamed. These members never find anything better to do other than flame each other.

Theres nothing wrong with that. Theres too many young people who have to giggle at any word relating to sexuality. It's sad too. Your not a hentai pervert, your just stating a fact, never take those people seriously.

Hmm, I remember correcting you on the spelling of adamant, oh yeah! Hey, now Serebii.net makes that same typo on all of their movesets, I really should go to their boards and correct them. X3

@Religion I found it was generally both sides who would sit there and insult the others? intelligence and felt the need to flame back in their arguments, instead of just trying to let it go. This I think was kind of due in part to over sensitive modding, but anyways.
 
I remember the cool debate threads we used to have back then, meh, I would just watch them take place, I never got involved, but if I got the chance to again, I would certainly put in my two cents worth

I remember all those old debate threads...I rarely got involved unless it was a political debate...even still, I was flamed severely for being a conservative among a lot of liberals O.o
 
Well even though I did not post much in the olc PC i do miss somethings about it. I did like watch all the debate threads though they did get out of hand a lot. I think post in one once but then stop. I guess i just mess it(the old PC).
 
What REALLY pissed me off about some religious debates it's after they were closed, a mod would open it back up JUST to get the last word in and close it again. It's very irritating and an abuse of power. The Serebii poke of the day also keep mispelling "its" as "it's". When it's possesive like a Pokemon's flamethrower, it is "its flamethrower" as opposed to "it's flamethrower". I actually see this mistake a LOT, and everytime it drives me mad...

And just yesterday I remembered that red haired kid, Sudowoodo Prince. He was quite funky and had a weird fanfiction.

lol...there are only a few words I have to stop and think about spelling, and the its/it's thing is one that I always have to go back and fix before I post. Meh...as long as it's read the same way, it doesn't drive me crazy to read someone's misspelling. O_o

MODS still do that re-opening/Closing thing. It's kind of unfair, but hey, what can I do about it.
 
I can swear I never do that...I did see it happen like last week when Andy made the pointless thread in FunTime then closed it. I think it took like three days before the Smods, praetors, Austin, Kayleigh, and DT to stop posting in it. XD
 
That's abuse, and it annoys me so much. But, anyway. I didn't know StarCliber was still at PC, but he is. Go figure. I wonder where Cursing Gengar is!
 
staff members posting in a closed topic happens very often if staffs disagree with one another regarding if a topic should be closed or not, or regarding the ways something happened in a thread... if that happens, mods should post in a closed thread imho...

as for the spam from dares of dare thread, like I said I'm against it...

I don't mind much about spellings and grammars, unless it's
a) official *coughPOTMcough* (but they're improving... now they got rid of the happen to stick impish on Sudowoodo which means that they're improving)

b) fanfics (I expect a fanfic to be just as good as a real book, and some of the rare ones are indeed as good as a real book)

Otherwise, I consider typing errors as an okay-thing... as the forum is used as a place to relax, not extended english class...
