    This is a fanclub dedicated to the movie "Rent"

    What Is Rent?
    It's about struggling artists living in New York's Eat Village. The characters include a S & M Dancer with AIDS, a lesbian Anarchist, etc. It's about the trials and tribulations they go through in the time period of one year.

    Well....my three favorites are La Vie Boheme, Take Me Or Leave Me, amd Goodbye Love....^_^...BTW if you really want a synopsis of RENT, here it is:

    So anyways, I completely missed it when RENT came to Florida. I just HAD to be sick.....Okay, since no one is replying, new topic:

    Who is your favorite character in the film/musical and why?

    My favorite character would have to be Maureen. Two reasons. The first one is that I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE her voice, and I love her character. Her character is so witty, and like "out there". Lol, but that's just me. How about you guys?

    Two the two questions:

    My favorite songs from the movie are I'll Cover You, Finale B, and What You Own.

    My favorite characters are Roger and Angel.

    Roger because I relate to him as a songwriter and just kind of identify with him.

    Angel's my favorite just because of the premise behind her. She is who she is, whether people accept it or not.

    The first time I saw it I wasn't paying attention and when Angel took off her wig, I was like "??!?!?!" xD

    My favorite song is "Light My Candle." (Lol0rxz @ Roger)
     
    Well, I actually like Rent. It's plain and easy to remember. But I'm sure that the director could have come up with a dozen other titles. But if it didn't have the original name of the musical, I wouldn't know what it was. 8D
     
    I guess there could have been other titles... What would an alternate title be?

    No....I just haven't been able to log on for a bit....I am still Co-Owner.....^_^.....And, if the name would have been changed, then most people wouldn't have known that it was the movie based on the musical....lol...
