Rep vs. Postcount

If one of them had to go, which one would you prefer to keep?

posts all the way! although i would rather had both XD post counts are how social, etc you are on pc, rep blocks are how many people decide to give you rep and to see nice little green things near to your name XD.

Post count for me, I rarely if ever get any rep that matters to me anymore...I.E. Just random annoying rep --;

If I had to choose one to keep, I'd keep post count. If you ask me, over the past year, rep has caused more problems than post count (anyone remember when someone made a new thread each day complaining about how some member was insulting them with the rep system? =\). Besides, rep isn't really important to me.

I'd rather keep both =P.
But if people hadn't of gotten so obsessed with rep, I'd have kept it. Now I'd rather have postcount, but I already clicked rep, so meh.

The point of reputation is to congratulate people on well thought-out posts, an admirable action taken by a member, or anything that really moves one and motivates them to give it out. Reputations are to give people a sense of accomplishment, whereas post count is a recorded number on how many posts you've racked up during your stay at PC.

Now if that don't sound one-sided, hehe...

Both XP

Post count. It provides more motivation. 11 pips, then there's hardly any visual proof of your hard work. Post counts are also more fun. ^.^ Rep, I could live without.

Doesn't matter to me. The rep points don't really matter to me, and they matter even less to me since I can't give any out (NIS won't let me T_T).

I don't see why your post count should account for your reputation. For personal use, I'd like to see how many I've made, but it doesn't have to a public thing.
