    Hello.

    I am experiencing problems with both quick and advanced reply. I can not post a reply or start a thread because the forum returns an error "Message too short." And that is not the actual problem, with each of these replies having more than 100 characters. I don't know if it affects all themes or if it has anything with them, but it happened with the Default vBulletin theme I set. May this be the faulty condition? Or may there be a fault on my side?

    Thanks for answer.

    EDIT: I copied this thread just in case it would happen to me again (I couldn't post this at first), and I set my theme to Forever standing and TADA, it works. Does that mean my assuming was correct? If so, can it be fixed?

    EDIT 2: Solved ^^

    I tried that theme, I had the same problem, I would guess that it is a problem with the theme.

    replying on the default theme..

    Themes shouldn't affect posting as they are just styles.. more likely it was a temp glitch or cookies/cache issue.

    test reply here too yet again.

    strange.. try clearing your cache.. (i've also re-entered the setting..) try again.

    Steve, it's also not working for me. I'm on the default theme, and on FF, and it gave me the same prob, and I cleaned my cashe (as well as closing the browser and opening it back up). And it still gave me the prob. I also don't understand why it would be theme related... But I can't post this on the default vB theme. And for some reason, looks like all the buttons (quote, YouTube, Bold, Italic, link, etc) aren't clickable. They're just images and not images with links.

    But... the default vB theme? o_O The only alteration in that theme from the master style (that governs all other themes) is the logo image, isn't it? The default default vB theme works (the master style). :|

    Sorry, but it still does not work. The only browser that it works in is Safari, at least for me.

    Okay now I'm confused. :[ Are we talking about Trick or Treat, the current default? Or the "Default Style" which is the vBulletin theme with our own logo image? Now you have me thinking it's the first one so it'd probably be my fault if it didn't work. 8|

    I thought so, and that's why I'm confused. As far as I'm aware, that's identical to the default theme on all vBulletin boards so it doesn't make sense that it's not working. o_O; But... I guess whether it makes sense or not, it isn't working all the same so oh well. XD;

    I posted a couple of screen shots earlier. You could have seen them, but its okay if you ignore the people who aren't staff. :)

    ...apparently I edited the showthread template in August but... I don't remember this. XD;

    I've reverted it though--did that fix the problem? (I don't have Firefox on this computer so I can't check myself.)

    edit: Sorry, I did view the screenshot earlier but totally forgot about it. It's Andy's fault I was confused. :[

    see how you are, ignoring me just because I'm not staff :(

    j/k I have to annoy you for some reason :)

    Still not working.

    There seems to be something up with the navbar too--I reverted the template to the default one all the other themes use and yet drop-downs don't work or anything. :| Only other things that have been edited this year are the footer and the headinclude... the rest haven't been touched since 07 or 05.

    Confused Lightning is confused. >:|
