    Reputation Abuse
Somebody just send me a red reputations two times a row. Everday. That's why my Reputation is Red. It's a Reputation Abuse. i hope you would fix this problem. Because this is important. The reason is: They hate my attitude? What's the point there? Im just telling them to follow the rules.. Im just helping the community to grow bigger. How would they send me bad reputations?

I've dealt with this before, but I've learned to ignore it. Besides, it's just rep, it's not like it's anything that matters. Why not just disable it? People will still be able to give you rep, but no one can see it.

People these days don't know how to use rep. It's happened to me before.

The best you can do about it is report it to Upper Staff, and they will either change it so some of your points go down, or it will goto Neutral, and no points will go down.

If a person is actually abusing it, the staff can check your reputation history and handle it with appropriate action. But if it just happens to be people disagreeing with your posts and it's more than a single person, I don't think they can do much besides tell you to disable your rep from being seen. But if they're using the system right, they can't do much about it.

I've gotten some negative rep. before, just because the person didn't like me. You just have to report it and deal with it. I've found that the person who is bugging you and repping you is newbish, and as such, they tend to have very low repping power.

All these words have something in common. Reputation is the public's opinion or perception of something or someone. Unfortunately, everyone has an opinion and they can differ. One negative reputation comment does not constitute abuse.

A lot of users like to pertain negative reputation as abuse simply due to the fact that they feel that their post was appropriate however public opinion may differ from your thought process or users will simply report it as abuse to have the comments removed.

In other words, just because you thought the post was appropriate, does not mean the public agreed and your post was represented as such.

Your Reputation Comments have been reviewed and they are within standards and do not constitute abuse.

We do appreciate your comments however every negative reputation is not abuse.

Keep in mind you do have the option of disabling user reputation. Some of our users have taken advantage of the option and I would advise you to possibly take advantage as well.
