Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention her item. She has focus sash.

Yeah, I figured hail wasn't too good. Just wanted to make use of her ability.

Destiny Bond and Shadow ball, you say? Eh, why not? Thx.

heres my planned ursaring, kinda more for in-game use

rock climb
earthquake (if it learns?)
close combat (how/when)
slash (want to replace, rock move most likely)

I don't think in-game only movesets are allowed in this thread.

But to answer your question, Ursaring learns Earthquake by TM and Close Combat by breeding with Mankey/Lucario.

Pokemon Yellow - Pre-evolution moves?

OK so I read that holding some Pokemon back from their evolutions will allow them to learn moves that they wouldn't have learned if they had evolved. If you know any Pokemon that have some good moves when held back, please mention them. I don't want to evolve the wrong Pokemon and miss out on some good stuff! Thanks

If i an EV training my pokemon, do i have to get them to level 100 to get max EVs? if i want to enter a battle set at level 50, do my pokemon only have the EVs they earned so far, or do all the EVs take effect? becuase i dont want to have to get my pokemon to level 100, but i want max EVs.

NTG: Well, I know that Breloom only learns Spore as Shroomish and Infernape/Raichu only learn Nasty Plot as Chimchar/Pichu. Also, only Eevee learns Baton Pass and not its evolutions.

Magmarizer: No, you don't have to reach a specific level to get max EVs. Your EVs are maxed as soon as you reach 510 and you keep your EVs no matter what level you're at.

Help with a moveset

I have a starmie with the moveset
Hydro Pump
Ice Beam
Cosmic power
Rapid Spin
I'm tryin to decide a few things,
1. Should I keep rapid spin?
2. If I don't, should I put Shadow Ball or Psychic in its place
Please give your reason for your answer if you choose to change it.
Thanks!

Hey guys. :3
I was wondering if anyone had a good idea for a moveset for a Relaxed Jirachi.
It has 4/10/31/27/20/4 as IV's.

Keep Rapid Spin but replace Cosmic Power for Thunderbolt. Rapid Spin can be kept or switched for Psychic/Grass Knot. Shadow Ball is not an option as Hydro Pump + STAB is 180 power. Shadow Ball (without STAB) even if it's super effective, is 160 power. Since nothing in the metagame is 4x weak to Ghost (nothing is Ghost/Psychic), Shadow Ball will never be strongest.

252HP, 220Def, 16Atk, 16SpAtk
Stealth Rock
U-Turn
Zen Headbutt/Iron Head/Psychic/Flash Cannon
Draco Meteor
I just made that up off the top of my head. XD

Actually, you could either go Bulky and replace Ice Beam and Cosmic Power with Recover and Thunderbolt, or go sweeper and go Thunderbolt and Recover over Rapid Spin and Cosmic Power.

tl;dr Cosmic Power is horrible, and Recover should be on most sets, barring Choice sets.

I made myself a unique lead aggron(yes I know, odd) and wanted to get some opinions on a 4th move. So far I have:
Iron head (for stab)
Head smash (great with rock head ability)
stealth rock

I was thinking ice/thunder/fire punch, but I can't be sure WHICH. Ice is good against torterra or ground types who want to switch in for an EQ. Fire is good for any steel types who want to come in and resist my head smash/iron head, or go for an EQ, too. Thunderpunch could be good if they send in a special water type. But I just can't be certain which I want.

Honestly, I don't know why you're running Iron Head on a Lead Aggron at all. Head Smash get's STAB as well, but in terms of moveset, something like this could work.

Aggron
Trait: Rock Head
Nature: Adamant/Impish/Careful
EVs: Up to you
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Head Smash
- Ice Punch/Low Kick/Roar

Taunt so others can't easily set up on you.
Stealth Rock for obvious reasons.
Head Smash for STAB and putting massive dents in Uxie and Ambipom
Ice Punch for Torterra leads, Low Kick covers a more general area, taking on Regirock/Steel, Torterra, Phyperior and other fatties, or Roar for PHazing.

Need some help making a Mono-Bug or Grass team

So.. my friends and I are making a team of each of the seventeen types. Since i live far away from them, i got the short end of the stick and couldnt choose my choice. Now i'm stuck with either grass pokemon or bug pokemon.

So with the bug pokemon, i know three teammates i must have, Scizor, Heracross and Yanmega. Now im stuck on the the other three bug teamees since, you know, half of them suck.

If i choose grass, I know the moves to use such as U-turn, sleep powder, leech seed etc, but i dont know who are good grass types (dont suggest shaymin because i cant use legendaries).

just suggest the Pokemon and maybe the items, and i'll figure out the rest, like EV spreads and such.

Thank you so much for that. :3 Now I need another one for a Jirachi, this time, it's Calm.
The IV's are 23/13/23/29/19/31, so it must be use-able. :3

InfernoRogue, don't listen to zommy. That moveset sucks.

Relaxed and Calm aren't very good natures for Jirachi, but if you must:

Your Relaxed Jirachi is terribly slow, but has great Defense. So use a support set:

Jirachi @Leftovers
252 HP / 180 Def / 72 SpDef

-Wish
-Thunder Wave
-U-Turn
-Reflect/Iron Head

Your Calm one has good enough IVs for a Calm Mind set:

Jirachi @Leftovers
252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spd

-Calm Mind
-Wish
-Thunderbolt
-Psychic/Flash Cannon

Hope that helps
