Granbull is actually decent at physical tanking, but it won't fit on this team. You don't necessarily always need a cleric.

I'll start on any other requests tomorrow if no one else does.

Soulflame, I might try yours, but having to look back and forth between my team builder and the post might be time consuming.

Sorry, guys. Some internet problems were encountered, ensued, but not overcome. It'll take me a little while.

can you make me an in-game team for Emerald with an offensive Sweeper,Special Wall,Special Sweeper,Annoyer,Offensive Sweeper/Special Sweeper, and Defensive Wall based around Blaziken Please?
    O_o

I won't post EVs, as they require knowledge of your Pokemon's IVs:

Blaziken @ Leftovers / Salac Berry
    Trait: Blaze
Adamant / Naughty / Lonely Nature
    - Fire Blast / Flamethrower
    - Swords Dance
    - Sky Uppercut / Brick Break
    - Rock Slide

    Blaziken.

    Regice @ Leftovers
    Trait: Clear Body
Bold / Modest / Calm Nature
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunder / Thunderbolt
    - Rest / Explosion
    - Psych Up / Toxic / Thunder Wave

Use Relaxed/Quiet/Sassy if you use Explosion. Special Wall in RSE. Psych Up if you can't handle Calm Minders well.

    Luvidisc @ Leftovers
    Trait: Swift Swim
    Timid / Jolly Nature
    - Sweet Kiss
    - Toxic
    - Attract
    - Substitute

Annoyers are dumb, especially in-game, but this is definitely the guy to do it. Train it for maximum Speed.

    Cacturne @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sand Veil
Brave / Lonely / Naughty Nature
    - Substitute
    - Focus Punch
    - Needle Arm / Giga Drain
    - Leech Seed / Spikes

Somewhat of a "Mixed Sweeper" if that's what you meant by "Offensive/Special sweeper. You can probably use Seviper with the same natures with Sludge Bomb, Earthquake/Glare, Giga Drain, and Flamethrower/Glare.

    Skarmory @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sturdy
    Impish Nature
    - Drill Peck / Aerial Ace / Air Cutter
    - Spikes
    - Rest / Substitute
    - Roar / Whirlwind

Remember that you can't breed for Drill Peck AND get Whirlwind in the Advance generation. Physical wall. No one does it better.

Flygon @ Leftovers / Choice Band
    Trait: Levitate
Adamant / Jolly / Naughty / Naive Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Fire Blast
    - Substitute / Dragon Claw

Obviously don't use Substitute with Choice Band. It was meant to be a "Physical" (Not Offensive, if that's what you meant) sweeper, but you probably won't get Hidden Power Flying or Bug for it, which takes away some of its physical potential. That just leaves Dragon Claw for a filler option.

When you finally understand that annoyers are lame, use Milotic over Luvdisc. Bold Nature. Max Defense. Surf, Ice Beam, Recover, Toxic/Hypnosis/Light Screen.

I would like someone to suggest a team for my Emerald Version with the following restrictions

    - No legendaries, and only rodent, canine, vulpine, weasel-like pokemon (or any that evolve from such type of pokemon) or any of these four pokemon as well (Absol, Rhydon Starmie and Charizard) but only max. of 2 of those.
    - No two pokemon the same species
    - Starters from any version that fit other criteria are ok
    - No pokemon that evolve via trade.
    - No Growlithe/Arcanine (haven't got one on Emerald)
    - All pokemon should have different types of moveset (eg. only one Special Sweeper)
    - No moves on pokemon that require getting a pokemon from any other version.
    - Max pokemon with same element type: 2
    - Would prefer the team to be flexible, but not vital

It sounds really difficult, but I prefer something to be my sort of team and theres such some I don't like.

There was an easier way to request that, but w/e.

    Ninetales @ Leftovers
    Trait: Flash Fire
    Timid Nature
    - Flamethrower
    - Will-O-Wisp / Overheat
    - Hypnosis
    - Grudge

Disable things, allow your other pokemon to set up, and get rid of opposing Surfs/Earthquakes with Grudge so Rhydon's threats are cut down. Overheat can be kind of a kamikaze move before Grudge is used, as well as you might need paralysis support, so burn status won't get too much in the way of that.

    OR

Charizard @ Leftovers / Salac Berry
    Trait: Blaze
    Adamant / Jolly / Lonely / Naughty / Naive / Hasty Nature
    - Fire Blast / Flamethrower
    - Swords Dance / Belly Drum
    - Earthquake
    - Aerial Ace / Rock Slide

    As a Swords Dance recipient

    OR

Blaziken @ Leftovers / Salac Berry
    Trait: Blaze
Adamant / Naughty / Lonely Nature
    - Fire Blast / Flamethrower
    - Swords Dance
    - Sky Uppercut / Brick Break
    - Rock Slide

Also as a Swords Dance recipient.

Rhydon @ Leftvers / Salac Berry
    Trait: Rock Head / Lightningrod
    Adamant / Jolly Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Swords Dance
    - Rock Slide
    - Substitute / Megahorn

    Beast.

Absol @ Leftovers / Salac Berry
    Trait: Pressure
    Jolly Nature
    - Swords Dance
    - Baton Pass
    - Shadow Ball
    - Taunt / Substitute / Double-Edge

Really needs Agility atm, but SD passing is still cool.

    Sceptile @ Petaya Berry
    Trait: Overgrow
    Timid Nature
    - Leaf Blade
    - Endeavor
    - Thunderpunch
    - Substitite

I'll explain my choice in a moment.

Starmie @ Leftovers / Petaya Berry
    Trait: Natural Cure
    Timid / Modest Nature
    - Surf / Psychic
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunderbolt
    - Recover

My friend Stalling was cool enough to find out that once Sceptile rips through special walls with Endeavor, Nothing really resists Starmie's attacks.

The last spot, I was having issues on, so you can use Raticate or Sandslash to fill your "rodent" quota, or Sneasel if that counts as a weasel. It will have problems taking Fighting type moves, but Ninetails or Charizard should be able to fend that off. Or Starmie.

i need to request a team featuring steelix, kingler, and ariados + 3 more metal gen pokes that would be good additions to the others.
    Thanks

And an amazing moveset for all please

Is this for Gold/Silver/Crystal, or for the Advance generation? Sorry I didn't ask sooner.

Sorry that took so fricking long.

I need two other pokes to complete this team.

    I already have:

    Swampert as my Defensive Wall
    Gardevoir as my Special Sweeper
    Skarmory as my Spiker
    Salamence as my Physical Sweeper

I need a special sponge but I was really indecisive on choosing one. Last spot can be whatever supports or fits my team best.

Side Note: This is Emerald, and I only have a DS so I don't have any trading capabilities unfortunately.

No, Skarmory is your physical wall. Swampert is just a bulky water, made to take hits from Salamence and Tyranitar, and take a number lesser physical hits.

The only thing you can do in Emerald, as far as special tanking/sponging is use Regice and/or Ludicolo, or use Rest/Sleep Talk/Calm Mind/Psychic Gardevoir to help out. I strongly recommend Regice.

Ok Regice sounds cool to me. Is it available to me before of after the Elite Four? If not I already had a Ludicolo in the waiting, so I could probably use that Pre Elite Four. Can you provide movesets for both just in case?

I need a team for Leaf Green. No starters (except Venasuar). Only legendary birds (Arcticuno, Moltres, and Zapdos). Trying to get a good team for the Elite 4.

EDIT: I mean only as in the only legendaries.

Not going to argue with this moveset, but Thunderbolt generally would work better than Giga Drain IMO.

    Mewtwo
    Calm Mind
    Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Flamethrower
    Psychic
    Recover

    Metronome does nothing for you.

    Lapras

    Surf / Thunderbolt
    Ice Beam
    Rest
    Sleep Talk

Generally, Lapras doesn't need Surf since it gets STAB from Ice Beam, and Boltbeam is only resisted by Lanturn and Shedinja.

    Dragonite
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt
    Substitute
    Focus Punch

    Snorlax

    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Shadow Ball
    Earthquake

Trade either Shadow Ball or Earthquake for Double-Edge/Body Slam/Return

Can't really take physical hits, but the movesets, for the most part, are good. Might wanna make a separate thread on this next time though. ;/

Hey, so I'm gonna pick up Leaf Green soon, and I need some help building a team. I'm not very good with strategy, that's why I come for help. In fact, I only use attacks that cause physical damage because I don't know how to effectively use status/stat changing attacks. I wanna change this, and add depth/strategy.

So anyway, I need a team built off the pokemon available in Leaf Green only, I can't trade or anything, and this is an in-game team. I want the starter to either be Bulbasaur or Charmander. Also, it'd be cool, but not necessary to include Dragonite, but whatever works. Along with the build, could you possibly give me strategies/combos that are in the build that I can use.

If you need me to be more specific, I can try.

    Thanks in advance.

Can I get a NB team that's UU but still really effective.. I'm still a relatively newb to NB, but I grasp the concept very well.. (but I still can't figure out very good teams) And if Sneasel isn't OU I'd like to have it in there..

Please include a nice tank and special sweeper.. Thanks!

EV stands for Effort Value. If you look in the "Compiled Guides" in the strategies forums, there's a guide for them there.

Clever, except that Espeon might not have a nature that will let it attack until it's near dead.

    Skarmory @ Leftover
    Impish
    - Rock slide
    - Drill Peck
    - Steel Wing
    - Empty [Will be aerial ace when i get that tm from my friend]

Why use Aerial Ace when you already have Drill Peck? Just use Rest or Substitute.

    Swampert @ brightpowder/leftover?
    Brave
    - Surf
    - RockSlide
    - Bodyslam [will be brick break if i get that tm]
    - Earthquake

Brick Break is a wasted option on Swampert. Use Ice Beam, Protect or Rest.

To really be effective in the Battle Palace, you have to whore Pokemon with high HP stats, while still being able to dish out a good deal of damage (like Snorlax, or even Wailord at times) or actually study what each nature does, breed certain Pokemon for each nature, then battle.

Guys, I can use some help with the team request, since they're starting to pile up.
