Get rid of toxic spikes on forry...and the EVs would help, and natures. You need a special wall...maybe the bliss-e-nator
 
the foretress is EVd in defense and hp and impish the typhlosion is modest and EVd in spattack and speed andzangoose is jolly EVd in attack and speed. what should i replace toxic spikes with? SR or iron defense?
 
Try rapid spin...if you won't use it, steelix is better...and just edit the EVs into the original post...that format is terribly difficult to read.
 
i think i need a baton passer but im not sure who. i liked scizor on my old team but if im using forretress that probably wont work too well.

what do u think is better for zangoose night slash or shadow claw?
 
and im thinking about granbull or kangaskahn for a subpuncher. what EVs should i give it.
 
ya i guess i better work out the basics first. i was just thinking i could give them roar to help with spikes cuz i dont really kno who else to use for that.

Skarmory can use roar and spikes...your questionm didn't make much sense...
 
Hello Everyone this is my first post. so im sorry if this is in wrong place. I have been playing pokemon for 5 years, i got into playing after seeing my younger brother playing the game. but i have never gotten further than just beating the game and then leaving the cartridges to gather dust. i have no ideas on moveset, team building etc. im excited by wifi on pearl,diamond and im getting wifi-access at xmas. so have 3 months to build breed a good team for battling over the internet. i had idea of using team built around move spite or team built around ability pressure. i have ruby,emerald,colosseum.leafgreen,pearl and diamond. anyway i have checked boxes on game found decent tangela and registeel with great ivs neither on ev trained just stored. could anyone help with team built around tangela/growth and registeel. i can try and provide movesets im thinking about if this helps. ive no experiene on ev spreads sorry. any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hmm
-Weavile, Physical Sweeper with Pressure
-Spiritomb, Wall with Pressure and Spite
-Gengar, Special Sweeper with Spite
-Tangrowth, Physical Wall or Chloryphyll (sp?) Sweeper
-Registeel, Dual Wall
-Aerodactyl, Physical Sweeper with Pressure

There are some ideas on who to use for your team, I'll let you choose what moves for now, if you need more help, just post again and I will help out
 
Any suggestions for a Venusaur? He's mostly surrounded by sweepers on my team, so does he serve any good defensive strategies? I'm a total n00b when it comes to Venusaur...
 
Hi Angelic Diablo thanks a lot for your reply. Its looks like i will be spending the weekend thinking up some movesets. Am i right that if spiritomb uses spite the foe loses 4pp (from spite) plus 2pp because of ability pressure ? In diamond pearl i've heard spite always makes the foe loses 4pp rather than i think random 1-5pp in past, am i right?. i guess my idea for pressure,spite team will only work if my pokes can last a while and foe pokemon have moves with low pp. i'm still learning and thanks for help with tangrowth/registeel i think i would rather have a team that attacked rather than stall. i should spend sometime thinking up what i want to do. anyway thanks a lot i promise to think up some moves and post them next week if you could help again that would great thanks

Any advice on movesets and what other pokemon that would be good to add to my team?
 
Add two walls to those four, especially if you shoose gengar...probably blissey and steelix.
