I still don't see why people are running this silly 222 Speed on Umbreon. Needs more HP though.

You never have silly. It's so it can Taunt faster things!

like what? vs cune you dont even need that much speed. After that all you have most likely is TTar and Scizor, TTar of which shouldnt really have any business running max speed, and Scizor who has Silver Wind, and prolly still isnt running as fast without Agility.

306 outspeeds the 205 Metagross / Tyranitar, while 222 ties Standard Magneton but that doesn't always help you. Then again, most Magnetons run 225, so I run 226 on my Metagross to kill it before I die. I would just got with 206 for Umbreon.

You've used no speed before. Well anyway you can make sure you outspeed more stuff with 222 speed apparently.

I've used no speed, but mainly when I used cool stuff like Curse and Snatch.

Yeah well Taunt varations need around 222 speed. ^_^

i only run like, 180 something on my umbreon just so i can taunt 177 skarm's,

if i didnt do that i would go with 206 i guess to taunt tar, but most t-tars have fpunch which you lose too

also max hp umby is better

I said "212+". Some people like MAX Lefties recovery, but i just use enough HP tog et to 390/391.

Hey all! I was wondering, since I recently restarted my team from hatchlings, if someone could give me some suggestions for EV training? I've worked it out, but I don't trust myself all that much...

Metagross (Adamant)
140 HP, 252 Atk, 28 SpDef, 88 Speed
(I'm wondering if I should sacrifice some to put into Defense?)

Steelix (Impish)
252 HP, 252 SpDef, 6 Atk
(This guy can hit hard, but not too hard... so I decided to pump Evs into his Special Defense instead of Attack. His defense is already insane, and with maxed SpDef, he could very well be untouchable)

Aggron (Adamant)
252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 Def or Sp Def (not like it'll do all that much)
(I originally had 252 in Defence, and had an Aggron with nearly 500 Defence stats... that's cool, to show off. But I decided that Aggron's base stats in defense are plenty, and decided to jack up his attack in it's place)

Magneton (Modest)
6 Def, 252 SpAtk, 252 Speed
(I'm thinking of breaking up Speed to put a bit into SpDef, but I'm not sure)

Skarmory (Impish)
252 HP, 192 Def, 64 SpDef
(Really no other way you can go with this guy)

Scizor (Impish) [Baton Passer]
252 HP, 252 SpDef, 6 Def
(As a baton passer, I want defense, defense, defense...)

Mawile (Impish) [Baton Passer if I don't use Scizor]
252 HP, 252 Speed, 6 Def
(Mawile is a cutey, but it really lacks exceptional stats... that's where the speed comes into play)

And before people start barking at me, yes, this is intended to be an all Steel team. I know, I know... common weaknesses gallore. But I'm a big boy, I know what I'm getting into. :-)
