I've been breeding a lot of Charmander with Dragon Dance lately (to pass on to Tyranitar) and I was wondering - is a Dragon Dance Charizard > BellyZard viable in the UU environment? I don't like Belly Drum because it cuts Zard's HP in half, and it's already not the most sturdy of Pokemon. I would think that DDZard would last longer and still be a viable - if not as devestating - sweeper, right?

Heya, Just recently i have been shiny catching like mad!!! its really paying off, i've caught loads of cool shinies Drowzee being one of them. I am looking to EV train one and perhaps put it in a shiny UU based team i was planning to make. As moves like baton pass and wish are not realistic for my Hypno's that i have caught through hard work i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on some movesets, i will first give the natures+abilities of the hypno i have found to help:

Adamant/Insomnia
Calm/Forewarn
Jolly/Forewarn
Brave/Insomnia
A few neutral natured ones with both of the abilities.

Any suggestions will do, i like to be unpredictable with my sets so all are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Calm is a great nature, Forewarn is a terrible ability :/ If you'd be willing to rebreed to get a calm one with Insomnia, it would pay off. Adamant one is only usable from an event (Which, since your breeding, you can't do :P). Sets are here

How does everyone feel about Cloyster as a lead?

Cloyster
Bold Nature/Hates to lose
Shell Armor
EV's (150 hp)(78 def)(80 satt)(252 sdef)
Spikes
Poison Spikes
Ice Beam/Ice Shard
Surf

I'm undecided on an item yet, although leftovers would be good. I'm considering replacing Surf with Rest and giving him Chesto Berry though, that way if I meet something that can't 2HKO, I can set up more Spikes and T Spikes.

Sorry if this post is a mess.

Well, Chimeco outclasses it anyway, because like me, Chimeco is AWESOME.*saxaphone music*.

Give me a Wigglytuff set.

I also have another question. Of all the pokemon based on animals, why the hell aren't there any PLATYPUS pokes out there?

Does SpecsZam OHKO (or come near it ) Suicune with Grass knot?

CM Resttalk Cune (It's got to be a better name for it) with 252 HP, NO investment in Sp. Defence and a neutral nature for Sp. Def goes like
553 Atk vs 266 Def & 404 HP (100 Base Power): (73.76% - 87.13%) the first turn, and then
553 Atk vs 399 Def & 404 HP (100 Base Power): (49.50% - 58.42%) second turn.

252 HP 252 Sp. Defence + natured Cune goes like
553 Atk vs 361 Def & 404 HP (100 Base Power): (54.46% - 64.36%)

So yeah, still a 2HKO no matter what.

If you want Cune to survive, then you could use this spread:

Suicune@Leftovers
252 HP / 64 SP.D/ 188 DEF / 4 SPEED
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Surf
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

With that spread and a CM boost, Suicune will be 2HKO'd by SpecsZam's Grass Knot 0,07% of all tries.

It'll probably be worse off now though, now that it has lost a rather lot of its physical walling ability.

^ Actually I was asking that so I would know how my Zam would fair against one, lol. Thanks.

Sorry if this post is a mess.

Heysup from Smogon posted a pretty good Cloyster Anti-Lead that apparently works well in UU, even with the absence of Crobat and Shaymin.

https://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1917628&postcount=1

Here's the post with the moveset and description of how it works.

Basically, BellyZard, but running DD instead.

Thing is though belly zard can actually, you know DO something to bulky pokemon. DD Zard cannot do this without coverage. So you might aswell run T-Punch for the 2hko on Milotic or Rock Slide to hit Altaria etc or just plain Roost so you wont die as easily, i mean zard isnt the bulkiest but its still useful. Still my point stands "Altaria, Feraligatr do this set better".

Ok, I need to know how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. This is crucial team building infomation that will determine the outcome of my team.

Oh, and where do I go to determine the usage for the month?

But seriously, I need those numbers. HOW MANY LICKS?!
