Resizing Gen 4-5 Trainer Overworld Sprites for FireRed

Hello. I just want to know how I can resize trainer overworld sprites from gen 4-5 so I can insert them into a FireRed rom.

I have edited a few DPPT sprites, but they are just a little bit large, need to be 16w 32h.
I tried to resize them by dragging the box back but it just cuts the sprite off.

I've read through this tutorial here:

Which is resizing Pokemon Sprites, but I don't think the 80x80 method would work for trainers.
Anyone have any idea on what I need to resize it to using the tutorials method?

Hi, I've moved your thread into the ROM Hacking Help forum, because Tools, Tutorials & Resources is for posting a tutorial that you have written, not for asking for one.

There is not really another method for overworld sprites than to make a new sprite from scratch in paint. Check this resource for some accurate sprites in Fire Red style of HG/SS games that are already finished.
