Returning to johto VERY soon

    If you look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pokémon:_Diamond_and_Pearl:_Galactic_Battles_episodes

    Scroll down to the last three episodes, the Mysterious forest which if anyone remembers that was at the start of johto journeys and then look at the last episode the release date 10th of September and if you look at the HG/SS release date it is 12th of September! coincidence? and in most of the ending of the series they always return town they started out in at the start. tell me what you think.
     
    I think this is ridiculous. Can you find something that is not Wikipedia that says this?
     
    Tip: never trust wikipedia for anything because anyone can put information on that website

    Hmm I checked on the episode guide and yes when I saw the last episode Sept 10th, did make me think new Season will start and maybe heading to Johto, as when new games are released in Japan the anime usealy starts same time, but remember the HG/SS are Reamkes and the remakes for Red/Blue (Green) never had something to do with the anime but that doesnt mean that this series wont back to Johto..and we all know the next Movie stars Lugia and Ho-oh so there must be something towards the anime, even the PCP is in the anime are related to the game. So yea this might be the end of the season with Galactic Battles and a start with the new season in Johto. I really hope there will be a cameo of Jimmy (The BOY character from Gold/Silver) and even a cameo with Silver (The Rival) that be class
     
    They're showing Johto Pokemon now to advertise HGSS, but Ash still hasn't got all the badges and challenged the Sinnoh League yet and Dawn hasn't got all the ribbons, so it's going to be a while until he goes back to Johto, probably quite a few months away, actually. So it's just coincidence that they're airing that particular episode there, it doesn't mean they're going back to Johto.

    There isn't anything wrong with what the Wikipedia article is saying, con-11 was just pointing to the episode air date, and then they made an assumption from it himself.
     
    The episode in question is called "Naty and Natio, the Mysterious Forest". Seems legitimate since Bulbapedia and Pokeani are reporting the same episode title. Wikipedia's info seems to be correct (this time).
    But where does it say that Ash and co are going back to Johto? It doesn't seem very realistic since:

    - As said earlier in the thread, Ash has yet to collect all the badges, so it wouldn't make any sense for him to be in Johto at all.
    - During the start of Johto, Ash and co saw Suicune, but that was resolved in "For Ho-oh the Bells Toll". So.... what mysterious forest?
    - DP139 takes place in the Shinou region. Sames goes for DP141. Meaning that Ash and co would leaving for Johto in DP139 be in Johto at DP140 and magically be back to at the battle tower in Shinou at the start of DP141? Though the writers like to make it themselves easy at times by ignoring the laws physics, but when Ash and co travel to one place it takes several episodes, especially when going to other regions.

    It doesn't seem to be very likely to me that DP140 will take place in Johto.
     
    See the episode titles are right, but they are promoting Johto Pokemon BECAUSE of HG/SS.>_> This does not mean they are ending Sinnoh right now. They still have the penultimate battle with Team Galactic, Volkner (and by extension HOPEFULLY a visit by my darling Jasmine^^), the Grand Festival, and finaly, the Sinnoh League.

    They went back to kanto.... how is tht not to do with FR/LG?
     
    Well, I'm just throwing an idea out there but is there any possibility
    of this being a Special episode promoting HG/SS. Why would he just give up on Sinnoh when he has ONE badge left and go to Johto? Maybe this 'special episode' might feature Jimmy or maybe even Soul! This is just an idea but he's not going to Johto soon. What about Team Galactic???
     
    ^^^ Exactly! They can't randomly drop one storyline to focus on another. I mean Sinnoh is innovative, but that is rather pointless dropping a region all together.
     
    He'll go to Johto after Sinnoh. Or maybe the Battle Frontier will actually be to the east of Snowpoint City and Mt. Coronet will get an arc.
     
    Johto isn't going to pop up in the Anime for a long time. The frontier in platinum was basically confirmed on tv tokyo to be located in Sinnoh and if the frontier of Johto pops up that would be very late into the show.

    Care to post a source on that? I mean, considering the fact that not only has Ash not even fought Volkner yet, but they haven't even announced their arriving at Sunyshore City yet, or heck, even the Galactic finale, for that matter, they shouldn't even know whether the writers are going to be placing the BF in Sinnoh or not.

    Well if Palmer is showing up, that should mean something. IF (and I do mean if) this happens, I wonder where? I mean does this mean they are going to have some extended stay in Sinnoh. I mean they go compete in the frontier while making the trek to Sunnyshore, but that seems a bit unorganized.
