I believe this was one of the Polls of the Week awhile back, but only pertaining to Ash though.

So which pokemon out of the ones that these trainers "owned" at one time do you think has the greatest likelihood of either returning or a cameo appearance some time in the future?

And even if there is no realistic likelihood which would you want to see again?

I left out Charizard and Squirtle cause they have been shown to reappear periodically when needed, as well as Gliscor since he appeared again when called upon(so I assume the same for him).

I honestly want to say that all of them have an equally low chance of ever reappearing. Primeape I can't see, since it hasn't appeared since it began training. Butterfree and Pidgeot are in the same case, Butterfree being happy with his mate while Pidgeot is still around Pallet I suppose, since Ash didn't bother looking for it.

So I just chose Misty and Togetic, because knowing Misty, she'd probably want to leave her gym first thing and try to meet up with Togetic again. I mean, she raised it ever since it hatched from the egg. They've got to have some connection.

Pidgeot, iirc, it was the only Pokemon Ash promised to come back for. I don't remember Primeape but I didn't like it. ): Pidgeot's leaving was amazing. :3c Ambipom was my favourite Pokemon throughout the Sinnoh league so I'd love to see her/him I forget, to come back again. Togetic too, it's leaving made me cry. ;;

I'd love to see Dawn's Ambipom return sometime (she could retire from Ping Pong and help Dawn in Contests again). I really miss Ambipom, she was hilarious as an Aipom.

I'd like to see Pidgeot come back. After all, Ash did promise to come back for it, but it didn't happen for around 10 years.

I can see Ash's Pidgeot coming back and seeing him again,Dawn's Ambipom is unlikely to ever return now that Dawn isn't on the show anymore,besides the fact the DP series is over with.

I voted Pidgeot. I think I prefer it over anything else. Though I don't want to leave the chance of Dawn's Ambipom. I find Pidgeot prior but Ambipom has better chances of reappearing, not sure why but I have this feeling for it. And.....didn't it already make its reappearance in the Special Episode?

Eh, this is quite the hard one isn't it? I'd have liked it if you'd have added some of Team Rocket's Pokémon, like Arbok, Weezing, Chimecho and Dustox. Especially Arbok and Weezing, seeing as they have the same amount of chance of appearing than any others you've listed.

Anyway. If we're going to look at this more realistically, I think Pidgeot would be the Pokémon with the best chance of reappearing. Just due to it being so close to where Ash lives, though it may not ever happen anyway. Ash could easily return to Pallet, and who knows maybe see Pidgeot some day. As for the others, seeing them would probably involve going back around the region and seeing them again, or probably just randomly bump into each other idk.

Ohhhh this was a tough one. I would love to see Butterfree, Pidgeot or Togetic again. But I think we might see Butterfree again because it seems that it is the Pokemon Ash most flashes back too. I'd like to see a reunion of Pidgeot and Butterfree in Viridian Forest where Butterfree and Pidgeot now have families.

I think the Butterfree is dead.
It says in a PokeDex entry somewhere that when Butterfree mate, they die. He let his Butterfree go with the other Butterfree... So more than likely the thing mated and died. So I doubt it will ever come back.

It is a common misconception that Butterfree die after mating. However, this comes from a mistranslation and there is nothing to stop Butterfree returning in the future.

I think all of them don't have a chance of ever appearing again, but if I gotta go with one, I would say Ash's Pidgeot. Why? Because it was Ash's 2nd Pokemon to ever catch! Butterfree I think is gone forever as it is probably "mating" to death, hehe...

And as for Ash's Primeape, I don't think he ever really cared for that thing. He never really used it and it wasn't even a sad goodbye when it left. The other Pokemon I would say have as good of a chance as Primeape.

Personally, I'd like to see Togetic or Pidgeot return. I can't see that happening ever though.

I'd like to see Pidgeot back for the Unova League, it would be awesome, although I don't see that happening since well Ash caught a flying type too. :'x
