Review 5.0

True enough. Good news, Grumpig.

I say physically, I'm set. Gengar is handled more or less by Vileplume. If it is specs, Tauros & Grumpig. But not 100%. I can live with that. Same with Ttar. I kow it isn't 100%, but good enough.

Now, the only problem is, Grumpig has problems with Dark attacks, which annoys me. Forget Pursuit or Night Slash, Reflect & Weezing handles that. Dark Pulse is what scares me. That is where Snorlax shines, but he adds to Mixape problems, which none but Tauros can handle.

I suppose since Yanmega is rare, I'll just deal with that weak. Or, I can deal with a Mixape weak. I think Tauros can take it, it outspeeds him for the KO, and Intimidate helps somewhat. Although I cannot switch in for the life of me. Tinted Lens can easily be revenge killed, but Speed Boost...

I might use Mudkipz, but not now. I mean, I do like it, but not as much as I like Torterra, which is why I am fighting him to stay on.

Y'know what'd help solve Tar and Infernape? Dugtrio! Revenge-kills both of 'em for the match.

I can't think on what it would go over, though. I guess Torterra looks a little bit replaceable.

Snorlax is saved. >=O

But not Yanmega, which is mah main problem.

Now, if only I had Wigglytuff, but she is uber.

I guess I'll just deal with a Yanmega weak. Or is it, "an" Yanmega weak?

Use both Snorlax and Dugtrio. MixApe nullified by Duggy. Yanmega by Snorlax.

I'm sorry, I'm looking at the team, and I was thinking, what'll happen if I replace Weezing with Bronzong? What would I suffer? I'm lousy at the long term picture, so excuse that.

The only thing that I don't like about it is it's lack of reliable recovery, so I may slap Rest over Stealth Rock (I have Torterra for SR). Mind you, it would have Shed Shell.

You would be weak to gyarados and Heracross etc. =)

I wouldnt replace weez, if anything Torterra.

But for Bronzong, Mr. I hate Torterra? What would he add, & drag me down with?

Well it deals with Tar and Yanmega, also Gengar to some extent.....

EDIT : I dont hate Torterra, its just does nothing here, but add weaks and its slot could be used for something more beneficial.

But what does he hamper me with? He is just as good as Torterra for Tar stopping, sans Leech Seed (trading off an Ice weak for Fire Weak, which is better). So before I add him, what weaknesses does he bring?

Bronzong@Leftovers/Shed Shell
Nature:Relaxed
Gyro Ball
EQ/Hypnosis
Stealth Rock
Light Screen
EV:252 HP, 100 ATK, 108 DEF, 48 SP.DEF

I literally have this in my box.

I'm going to get me a Leech Seed Vileplume one way or another. Frack shoddy, telling me I can't use event pokes. I can't find any real reasoning not to. Can someone explain to me why?

Looks cool. But Torterra is not a good t-tar counter as Ice Beam can be on ANY Tar set and it strokes torterra..

As for event moves, they are banned there, stupid shoddy. Its all Tickle wobby's fault for being broken, who as ivs said before wouldnt be a problem if some smart person wouldn't of woken up one morning and say "imma put wobby in ou lllololo". Now we cant even use Wish bliss etc. Which limits the game as walls with no recovery will see less use. FAIL.

But i dont care, i WILL use them on wifi indefinitely, and i will ABUSE event moves, and i feel sorry for anyone who tries to stop me >=[. [/Rant]

yOU JUST SAID A FEW DAYS AGO THAT TORRTERRA IS A GOOD TTAR COUNTER!

Sorry, caps stuck, I'm not fixing >:(

But jeez, everyone is throwing me in loops.

But more importantly, why did Anti insist that Bronzong has bad synergy in a team with weezing? That concerned me.

Anyways, I live what Bronzong could potentially do over Torterra. It's an okay switch on Tyranitar (I stress "okay") and does very well against Yanmega, especially the speed boost ones. It could also blow up on togekiss, though Togekiss can't really handle CB Double-Edges from Tauros without taking a massive heap of damage or even dying.

No he didnt, he said the above..Unless i missed something.

I dont think i ever said Torterra was a good t-tar counter. Must be confusing me with someone else ?

Ignoring Ttar, please ignore Ttar for naow, I wanted to know something. I post here to prevent making another team.

How would Tentacruel do at taking out Yanmega? Not as the sole wall, but for backing up Grumpig? Ignoring Tar, how would he affect my team? Would he hinder it in any major way? Of course, replacing Torterra.

Tentacruel@Leftovers/Black Sludge
Nature: Calm
Ice Beam
Surf/Hydro Pump
Rapid Spin/Toxic/Haze/Knock Off
Knock Off/Rapid Spin/Haze/Toxic

Even if he isn't so good, what would be an appropriate EV spread?

You still suck at dealing with t-tar =p

But yeah. 252 HP / 96 SP.ATT / 172 SP.DEF / 36 SPEED.

Just a note, Knock Off is illegal with Rapid Spin. Although tenta can still be your "spinner", but just to absorb t-spikes if you choose Knock Off.

Ice Beam/Surf/Rapid Spin OR Knock off/T-Spikes OR Sludge Bomb...

Oh, caught me good with that one, I had know idea it was illegal. Most likely moveset version issues. Would you be able to explain a bit moar?

I'll deal with Ttar later. I don't feel him as an immediate threat as Yanmega, who is a guarenteed 6-0. I may be able to outplay Ttar, since I have the resources in my team.

Not to sound pushy (I got switched to AM Classes, so I have alot of free time. I'm feeling good), but I don't really wanna get bombarded by "It'll nevar work" (ANTI! :GASP: TEH HORRORZ!). I'd rather learn that the hard way. I can clearly see that I have no way of beating Yanmega, but I have some resources of beating Ttar.

Unless there is a true reaso why it may not work. Tauros can switch into an EQ, weakening it with Intimidate, to force a switch (if they're smart), or an OHKO. If it's DD, it's an easy switch in. Tauros has reasonable defense.

If I am straight outpredicted, say, by the mixed set, so be it, I'll take that loss. I'd rather be outpredicted than helpless.

Doesn't mean I won't try Bronzong. Outrage is a B. Sure, Weezing can survive one (barring Chomp, which is why I am looking for some sort of quick attacker. Maybe Donphan), and even counter with WoW (I did some cals. With Leftovers, I barely survive.)

I'll worry about that later.
