    Hello PokéCommunity!

    I'm GehringGame and I'm new to the forums. I recently got all nostalgic for my childhood and decided to revisit my old Pokémon games. I'm hoping this will be a good place to discuss the games and get tips from other fans!

    Right now I've got an old GameBoy Advance SP working and I installed a new save battery in Silver Version so that I can play it again. Wow, the memories come flooding back!

    GSC were among some of the best games in the franchise for sure, even now, though there's no questioning the awesomeness of the remakes, HeartGold and SoulSilver, either. Do you have plans to try out the Pokémon games you missed or just the older games (which I'm sure are more easily accessible for you)? [: With Sun & Moon info reveals we've had a lot of older fans return wanting to catch up.

    Nonetheless, have a fantastic experience! We have a slew of great fangames to try out too if you're interested in Pokémon ROM hacks/non-hacked games so that's also an opportunity. See you!

    Sheep - I've played the games for all gens but I've spent the most time with gens II and III. I definitely want to revisit the whole series though! I don't remember much about Diamond or Black version when I played them, so I'd be interested to give them a shot again.
     
    Welcome to PC, GehringGame! Taking a nostalgia trip is always a fun thing. I actually took a break from Pokémon for a while between the beginning of middle school and the beginning of high school, but I found my way back, and my nostalgia trip has been great, I totally get the feeling! :)

    I'm also new to this forum! I played Pokemon on my Gameboy Color for years but then I suddenly stopped. Now I'm 22 years old and planning to buy a new Nintendo 3DS to play through X&Y and ORAS before beginning my journey in Pokémon Moon.
