This isn't really an essentials question, but it is related to it.
    How do I learn RGSS?
    Would learning ruby help?
The rgss manual that comes with RMXP isn't helpfull, at all.
Well, maybe a little, but it isn't going to be possible to learn to script with it.
I still don't have a clue about half of the stuff in there, and the stuff I've learned from friends are explained in there badly in my opinion.
Also, how would I have to adapt RGSS to work with essentials?
Like, I know essentials is written in RGSS, but I also know that certain scripts don't work in essentials, so there has to be a difference, somewhere.
On a completely unrelated note, what forum would I go to find a game team?
Because I'm blind and need a map creater.
I'm tired of my games being mapless.

Try 'RGSS' or 'RGSS Tutorial' on google.
To learn, the key is "practice". Try to make several tests and do thing like exercices on every RGSS Topic.
Some logic exercices can be good like making Fibonacci number program using loops or only recursion.

Some RGSS won't work on Essentials because some class are overridden, like the scene scheme (but you can call the old system like Pokégear does).

    OK, thanks!
    I'll do that.

I've always wanted to script in something.
"The sky is litterally the limit" is what I've heard.
