I was trying out my new McIceGar, and it didn't quite work out. Next time we battle, expect someone different. You're very good, so I may have to pull out a few secret weapons. ;)

Shinybreloom, why did you flee? The battle was just getting exciting! I mean, I can understand if you're JUST about to lose... but this was totally in the middle of the battle. That's actually kind of annoying. It goes as a win for me, in case you didn't know.

Dugtrio with Arena Trap... to be honest, that's the first time I've seen him on WiFi. But that ol' switchero... I should have seen that from a mile away. That's a great abuse of Starmie's power, though, so shame on you. :P

Oh, and Hitmonchan sucks in general. Being able to be outrun by Metagross is pretty sad... but Mach Punch helps him out a lot. So I guess it could be done.

But good job, you won. By an extremely cheap trick, I will admit, but you won anyways. So maybe not a job well done, but a job done nonetheless.

EDIT: Oh, and since when does Fake Out OHKO Alakazam? Even with Life Orb and a critical hit, that's pushing it a bit. Man, I got unlucky there.
 
I use Hitmonchan on purpose because he's UU. It's fun to take people by surprise with it. Even if it sucks, it still beat 3 of your pokemon. He has 0 Speed EVs by the way.

Also, Ambipom has Technician which boosts the power of weak moves, and Alakazam's defense is junk.

The main reason, which is the best of all, is that Hitmonchan is a great way to destroy a Dragon Danced Tyranitar with a Mach Punch. And no one expects that.

EDIT: Also, it may have been a cheap trick but don't act like Skarmbliss isn't cheap. =D

Ah, Technician. haha, that sucks. (for me!)

It was good, but I'll have to add minus Spore to my list, because if there were a list of "uber moves", that'd be number one.

And your Hitmonchan only beat me because you pulled that stunt with Dugtrio. That's actually the cheapest trick I've ever seen, even cheaper than Baton Pass Ninjask. It reminds me of a tactic of a different Pokemon... oh yeah, Wobbuffet! The Pokemon that requires no skill or risk.

I mean, you beat me, but the battle wasn't fun nor was it intense. It was just... blah. And I play to have fun, not to win.

EDIT: SkarmBliss is slightly less cheap, but at least there's strategies around it. In this case, it's just fooling your opponent. I really should have known you had a Dugtrio.
 
It's only fun or intense when you're winning. Come on, Skarmbliss doesn't take much skill either. I had plenty of ways to take out your Blissey, it was just the Skarmory that I was worried about. I got lucky when he got burned and his Drill peck didn't KO me.

And come on, it wasn't that cheap of a trick. I had good prediction and Dugtrio is a natural Blissey counter.

EDIT: You did know I had a Dugtrio. Remember when I switched it into your Skarmory and (stupidly) used Stone Edge?

There's also strategies around Dugtrio. Skarmory can whirlwind it if you didn't know.

That's not true at all. I've had plenty of fun battles that were intense AND I lost. Just watch the videos from Cema. SkarmBliss takes more strategy than that, especially now that typing doesn't dictate if its physical or special.

Skarmory would have died either way, I only had him and a near-dead Milotic. Starmie would have pwned both of them in a single hit.

haha, it was pretty damn cheap, I'm sorry to say. Generally, when someone accepts battles without sleep clause, it means they have Aromatherapy/Heal Bell support. So you just took advantage of that, and got away with it too! It wasn't that great of a prediction... I never even thought that Dugtrio would crop up, or else I would have done something else. More like just taking me by surprise. But OHKOing my Zam screwed me up either way, so I'm not crying over spilled milk. :)

(and actually, I didn't expect Metagross to outrun Hitmonchan... usually people max Speed on him, so I used an Agility. That effed me up too, I should have just killed him.)

It was a good battle... just was over too quick for my taste.

We can have another battle if you want. You know I have Dugtrio now, so it hopefully won't take you by surprise. I really had fun battling you, you were a great challenge. So far, no one on this website has beaten me yet. I'll also take Breloom and switch him with someone else because he has Spore.

No, actually, leave him in. My rules plainly state no clauses... I'd like to give myself a challenge. But I'm having a bad battling day today either way, so perhaps some other day.

Dugtrio is actually very good, it's just his ability that makes him a little cheap. But it's less cheap when you know about him, otherwise it's just a watered down version of Wobbuffet. Because actually, I have two Pokemon who wall Dugtrio completely. At least I think I do... one for sure.

But anyways, yes, another battle would be nice. Sorry if I got a bit heated, but I dislike sweeping or being swept (unless you absolutely must, like in a pure attacker team so common these days) so early in the game. Like I said, takes all the fun out of a battle. Save your Swords Dance Garchomp for the end, people, it's no fun if he's your second Pokemon out! haha
 
Okay sounds good. It's gotta be before this Saturday though.

Also, I think Arena Trap doesn't affect Flying Types and pokemon with Levitate.

Nope it doesn't, thats why it is standard to have pursuit on dugtrio, as pursuit owns ghosts like gar, and psychics like azelf.
