Richard Steel's Battle Stadium

See, my Electivire is 31 Speed IVs, 252 Speed EVs and Jolly natured. He's perfect speed. He's still not fast enough though to do much damage. And with a Life Orb it still doesn't seem to do too much.

I've done pretty good on Netbattle before, and Aerodactyl is almost always in my team. For a D/P Aerodactyl moveset is this good?

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Pressure
Jolly
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
-Crunch
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-Thunderfang

Is that good?

EDIT: Or perhaps even a Staraptor? 120 Attack and 100 Speed seems pretty good.

Thunderfang is debatable... against Skarmory, it still does crap. But it could prove useful against Pesky water types like Milotic, even though some people prefer to go with max Defense on Milotic, so your efforts may be wasted. But that's the standard, pain-in-the-ass Aerodactyl you've got there (but go with Focus Sash... I know from experience that Focus Sash can completely screw over a special sweeper trying to take him out).

Oh, and don't go with Staraptor. Too weak, IMO. Not enough bang for your buck. If you want a good flying type not named Aerodactyl, I highly recommend Swellow. Flame Orb + Facade + Guts = one hell of an attack.

And Shift, no problemo! You say you're a girl, but then on your game you're named John. haha, you've got my head spinning in circles!

And Ooka, can it wait until tomorrow? I'm kind of tired, and think I'm done with battles for the night.

stealth rock.. cema has the exact same aerodactyl which he starts every battle with.

Hmm... I gotta get some TMs then. Used Stealth Rock on a Probopass, then I didn't feel like using one. xP

I've got a team prepared, and hopefully it can do good. Three walls, two physical sweepers, and a special sweeper.

Might consider Ice Fang though...

Stealth Rock works, but you have to be lucky and predict a switch, because it gives your enemy a free hit against you, and Aerodactyl isn't taking too many hits before its taken down. But, then again, I guess that's what Focus Sash is for.

You up for a battle richard, I heard that dbsummit has beaten you before so I was looking forward to that battle. But he left so I guess I'll just have to ask you for a battle. lol just jokin.

Yeah, that was at 3:15 or so in the morning... I was heading to bed.

But sure, I could do a battle before I go to work. Maybe I'll try a new Pokemon out, just for kicks. But maybe not... hmmm...

I'll be waiting on WiFi!

I would be very pleased to battle you Richard. I look forward to it

Ooka, just to let you know, my respect for people who use Yanmega doesn't exactly escalate. In fact, I should specify this in my rules, but when people choose to use this incredibly cheap excuse of a Pokemon, Sleep Clause in in effect from now on.

Besides, the ONLY reason you're going to win is because of hax. Critical hit against Starmie, critical hit against Spiritomb, Meteor Mash missed. What more could you ask for?

Your the same as all the others. Blaming the pokemon that nintendo made for losses. Plus I only had 2 of you pokemon asleep and that was only once. I can't help that you are a sore loser just don't blame it on my pokes.

You kidding me?

I was moreso complaining about hax, with a secondary complaining of Yanmega. You could have laughed it off with me (I'd expect you to know by now that I say nothing without a shred of humor in it), you could have said "I was playing by your rules", or that "I just like Yanmega", but you took it the other way, so now I'm pissed.

Ask anyone what the cheapest Pokemon is besides Wobbuffet, and they'll tell you Yanmega. How much skill is required to constantly use Hypnosis? And yeah, it was only once... when I had like three Pokemon left. I'm not being a sore loser, I've lost plenty of times before, I'm just telling it to you straight. So don't be a douche bag just because you don't like people justifiably complaining about Yanmega. You can't put up a fight when every one of your Pokemon will inevitably end up sleeping, and your Aromatherapist is too slow to avoid a Hypnosis herself.

And SkarmBliss? Yanmega took it down. Read above... impossible to put up a fight without Sleep Clause. At least there are ways around SkarmBliss, and so called "SkarmBliss killers". Sleep Clause will just be my way around Yanmega, a way to give a chance of beating it. You played by my rules, so I'm not dissing you. However, in light of Yanny, my rules are changed. Deal with it.

Yanmega aside, if you didn't critical hit Spiritomb AND Starmie for a KO, the battle would have ended much differently, methinks.

EDIT:

In fact, I'll just go ahead and include all other Clauses in my rules.
Yanmega has forced me to become one with the masses. Congrats, Yanny!

Actually that would be yanmega and ninjask lol
