Richard Steel's Battle Stadium

I'm on right now. (Not on Wi-fi. on Pc). So when you're ready is it alright if i test out My team changes with a battle on Wi-fi.
 
Ahhh, Good Game Richard. You won 1-0. with only a Blissey with Red HP! I'm quite pleased with this battle.

Yeah, that was possibly the closest match I've ever had next to this one showdown with Cema. I wasn't sure if Gengar had Thunderbolt, so I had to be careful with bringing Skarmory out.

I can't believe that Meteor Mash missed against Gengar, though. I thought that cost me the game at the time! I always have trouble with Swampert for some reason, but I managed to take yours down. *pets Blissey* Salamence taking out Starmie also effed with me, but I had to try to predict the right moves and stall until Life Orb took its toll. I guess I predicted wrong in that case.

Good game regardless! I had oodles of fun. But Thunder Wave on that Gallade was pretty freaking annoying, and I was stunned at how much a Close Combat did to Blissey, even with a Burn!

Yeh, mine hasn't got ThunderBolt, but I might consider it on it again, I have Energy Ball instead, but since I already have 2 Pokémon with Grass moves it isn't needed anymore, that's be a Skarm Killer then xD.

Yeh, but that's where my Focus Sash WOULD kick in :). You have troubles with Swamperts, I have troubles with SkarmBliss. My Swampert isn't the standard one, mine is more fun xD, probably that's the reason you could kill it, but it did a great job IMO. I saw that you were stalling, but then I thought; Now she's gonna die anyways, let's Dragon Claw, he's probably switch anyways... And there came Starmie :3.

Yeh, I know :P, it R.O.C.K.S xD, and yeh, Expert Belt ftw :).

I found this a very interesting battle, especially because I thought I'd be KO'ed VERY quick by you.
 
Itachi, good battle! I got very lucky with haxes, but Snorlax thawed out the next turn anyways. And Yawn, or any status affecting move, doesn't work on a Substitute. That's why it failed.

Ever consider putting Choice Scarf on your Heracross? ScarfCross is scary to the extreme.

Anyways, I'm done with battles for a while... got to go to work very soon, but I'll be back on late tonight. Mithos, I'll try to get you that Skarmory by tonight. EV training is easy in Emerald since I have Pokerus, and it's just easier to do than in D/P for some reason.
 
Good battle richard. you creamed me again. Though this time. I actually took out two of your pokemon.
 
Richard i'll take you on under one condition you drop the skarmory and i'll drop something what do youw ant me to drop?

Yeah, eff that. haha, if Skarmory is gone, so is Togekiss. Skarmory is the glue of my team - she's my Spiker, my Hazer AND my Physical Wall. She is without a doubt the most essential member of my team, and happens to be one of three Pokemon that rarely, if ever, changes (the others being Blissey and Metagross).

Anyways, I'll be open for battles for a while... I have to take the garbage out where I live, so when I'm done with that I'll come back and take the trash out here! ;) I kid!

I thought it was going to turn into a huge staller war, but me predicting that Jolteon switch totally sealed the deal for me. Good battle!

Except when does Explosion critical hit Skarmory? haha, that SUCKED.

The lost of the P.K.M. Togekiss was a hard blow for the fleet. I knew ot was going to bite me in the behind later. >.<

The loss of scout Jumpluff was horrible too. U-turn is such a great overlooked moved. Combine it with as a fast support Pokemon such as Jumpluff and you have a scout that can keep you one step ahead of your opponent if used right.

Yeah I knew one decision would lead me to ruin. I was hoping you;d go Thunderbolt to give Jolteon some more juice.

Even if I did manage to knock off Starmie it still would have been tough to take on Blissey. It is like hunting the white whale in Moby Dick. You simply can't win.

Hey Jimmy, good battle! Those two critical hits really helped, especially against Weezing. But that actually makes up for something I still don't quite understand... how did Magnezone outrun Dugtrio? Even Timid with maxed EVs, Zone's highest Speed is 240, and my Dugtrio's Speed was over 300. Magnet Rise doesn't "always go first", so how the hell did Magnezone beat Dugtrio to the punch?
 
XD @ you switching to Spiritomb and me using explosion. Man, I just put explosion on him a few minutes before that battle. Damn, that thing is annoying.

Also that critical hit on Weezing ruined me.

Magnezone outran your dugtrio because I passed a couple speed boosts to him with my Ninjask.
