    Good afternoon, folks!

    Some of you may know me round here, but others (most?) are probably unaware of my petty existence. Well, as I'm far to lazy to add a little historical snipit to my page, simply ask one of the veterans of PC battling, and they'll be able to tell you about me.

    Anyway, I have decided to come of retirement and return to the battling life, if only slightly. School and work eat up most of my time, but I will be accepting battles now and again. Starting tonight, around 11:00 pm or so (9 hours from now, for those of you non-time people), I will officially be open for battling. I'd make it sooner, but alas, work has called me in.

    So, to give you a preview of my battling style, here are the rules that will be in effect:

    1.) No Ubers. That's a given (if you are ignorant as to what constitutes an Uber, please review before going into battle with me; a simple Googling will reveal much in this area).
    2.) All basic clauses are in effect, save for Item Clause, which is just plain stupid. Especially if you're running a stall team.

    Well, that's basically it. I'm a simple man, and an old school battler. So for those of you new and modern battlers, battling me may be a walk in the park. But beware, as I hold a trifle bit of notoriety round these parts (whether its justified or not is your decision), so try not to take me lightly. I just may surprise you.

    I also go with a first-come-first-serve basis. So, anyone who will be around tonight around 11:00 EST, feel free to leave a request, and a spot will be held for you!

    Ah, one last thing! Like my old battle thread, I will not be posting my wins/losses, nor will I post any of your wins/losses against me. Hierarchy and intimidation are stupid in my eyes; I'm simply a guy looking for some good battles.

    Well, as promised, here I am, and am ready for a battle.

    Ooka, you ready? It's been close to 1.5 years since I've even picked up the game, so I might have to blow some dust off. I should be easy - this round. ;-)

    EDIT: Well, it appears Ooka might have called it an early night. Oh well. Is anyone out there interested in a battle?

    Zam, dear old friend, how've you been? Great to see you again!

    And of course I'm up for it. For old time's sake. :-)

    I'll be on WiFi in half a tick -- still the same old friend code.
     
    I'll be on shortly-just have to reinstall WiFi like I do everyday now. XD

    Oh man, who's WiFi was that? haha, it was just getting interesting!

    Mine can be pretty bad sometimes, so sorry if it was me. Oh well.

    Whatever that Ice/Grass thing was, it's annoying as hell, though. Kudos on that!

    Yeah, I was disappointed to see the WiFi crash. I had just predicted you'd switch, but I still Protected just to be safe, XD. But of course the paralysis kicked in anyway. >_<

    Yeah, you got me there.

    And I'm pretty sure it was mine. I had to reset my WiFi to get back on.

    Ooka, I see you're back! You up for a battle?

    I have to type something up real quick, but give me about 5 - 10 minutes, and I shall be on WiFi!
     
    Yo Richard, I just figured I'd let you know, Platinum gave Hypnosis an accuracy cut, so you might want to get rid of it. xD

    Wow Richard, that was quite a comeback. Kudos, you probably would have even ended up winning. xD

    Well, my WiFi seems to be a bit iffy tonight, so I may have to forego any challenges until later.

    Sorry, Ooka, not sure who's WiFi that was. But that was a bit close to call, if you ask me. Besides Venusaur, the rest of your team was toast against Milotic, who in fact seemed to give you a bit of trouble near the end! You almost swept me, but Milotic came in and started picking off your guys one by one. haha, it's times like these that I remember why I even use her! Between her and Skarmory (even if he was sleeping and low), I might have been able to take Venusaur out, and then cleaned up the rest with Milotic, but I can't be sure. Call it a draw?

    PS: Good Christ, that was about a 40 minute battle! I've done worse, close to 1.5 hours, and I've done 5 minute battles, but these are the the kind of fights I enjoy, so thanks for that!

    I think it's time I revamp my team, since you just faced my original stall team,which has some rather obvious weaknesses (Swampert is a major one, which is why my heart sank when I saw yours, haha). Good battle!
     
    Sure thing, and just so you know, you've just given me the best battle I've had in quite some time. I'm glad you came back. ;)
     
    So, granted my WiFi won't be a skank ho, I would very much enjoy a battle.

    Any takers?
     
    Well, I'd say me, but I like to space our battles out, seeing as how they always last so long. xD
