[Scripting Question] Rigged Win?

(I am pretty sure this is a custom script question, but correct me if I'm wrong)

So, in every Pokémon game ever, your first fight is different than any other: the first trainer you fight when you get your starter, like fighting Barry, Bianca, Cheren, etc. Now, in every one of those battles, you better believe that they are rigged for the player to always win. For example, when your health is low, you better believe Bianca won't attack, but use leer. How do you program this in essentials?

So I don't think that this is really necessary I mean if you are creating a Pokemon game it would be kind of boring to let the player always win. I don't think a script is really necessary for this if you want to make a fair fight between a player and it's rival you should just not make the rival stronger than the player just have the rival have a Pokemon of the same level as the player. A unpredictable outcome it's better than a predictable one. If you want the player to win in order to continue on in the story you should just not put anything if the player loses(on the event for the battle) which will make the player able to battle again.

Now, in every one of those battles, you better believe that they are rigged for the player to always win. For example, when your health is low, you better believe Bianca won't attack, but use leer.

That's not true in the slightest. For any competent player, these battles are exceptionally easy, because they use a low-level AI. But those first trainer battles are very much not "always win" fights. I've seen TwitchPlaysPokemon lose enough of them to know.

Thank you for informing. I could have sworn when I played Black and White, Bianca couldn't kill me. She even used struggle instead of tackle when I spammed leer! xD xD xD Thanks anyway. :)
