I'm more of a punk rock kinda guy, so I don't really listen to Rihanna... (Well, not by choice, but there aren't any decent rock stations where I'm from, so most of the time I listen to "variety" radio). I will say this though. While most of her songs are indeed catchy (annoyingly so), I find most of them to be tolerable at best. "Umbrella" is probably her most popular song so far, and I'm not saying it's a bad song, it's just not the best she can do. "Take A Bow" was probably the best R&B song to come out in at least the past 5 years, and none of her other songs (except maybe "Unfaithful") come anywhere close to matching that. She's certainly talented, but unfortunately she's not very consistent in reaching her full potential. But that's the songs, not her, so I can't really fault her (unless she wrote the songs, in which case I can...). She's a good singer, she just needs to choose better songs to sing.

Uggh, I've heard that version. To me, it's just one of those songs you hear but don't pay much attention to.
And yes, I like Rihanna's songs. I haven't heard all of them, though.
