    Who is your favorite Pokemon in-game protagonist/rival off all time?

    For the sake of simplicity we'll stick to the main series of games so no spin-offs please!

    Personally my favorite protagonist is Gold/Ethan, I really love his design and the bit of hair that sticks out the front of his cap :P
    On the flip side my favorite rival is Gary/Blue, I have explained this is previous posts threads but he really is the definition of the word rival, somebody you WANT to beat. Unlike the newer rivals like Shauna for example who are just there for storyline purposes.

    But most importantly, who is your favorite protagonist and rival?

    Hey, ScoSap. Unfortunately, your current title (Red, Blue, and Green) is kind of misleading--from a glance, I thought this topic was about games themselves--so if you don't mind, I'm going to rename it. You're the owner, though, so you are always free to swap it with something else!

    As far as topic goes, one of my favorite heroes would be Brendan. Hoenn is the region I love most, to be honest, and being able to play as him made it even better. I personally, I love his design; his face seems quite confident, and has also a nice-looking attire to have it complemented. Only thing bad, I would say, is his hat; at first, I thought it was his actual hair. If it were, I don't know, more round, perhaps, then I'm sure it would've looked better.

    Rivals--I love Silver. He's got a great back-story relating to Team Rocket, and he also manages to put you to your limit in games; his disrespect is what makes you train harder to get back at him. Due to similar reasons, I'm also pretty fond of Blue. My least favorite has most likely got to be Barry; I'm not such a huge fan of his personality, sadly.
     
    For boys, I like Lucas's Platinum design and Nate from BW2. I have a lot of favorites from the girls, though: Kris, May, Leaf, and Dawn all have great designs, but I don't exactly hate or dislike them.

    For the Rangers, I really like Kellyn the best.
     
    I really like Dawn and Gold/Ethan as protagonists. I find Dawn really cute (particularly her Platinum appearance), and Gold/Ethan as cool looking, with that hat. When it comes to rivals, I'd probably say Silver from G/S/C is my favourite. He's a strong rival who basically pressures you to become stronger than him, which is something I really liked about him. He was a hurdle you had to cross to prove you were strong enough to take on the Pokemon League, and he provided a worthy challenge for me.
     
    Favourite protagonists are Gold, May, Leaf and Brendan :) If I was gonna make it a top 5 I'd add Hilda cause I like her design :)


    Leaf and Brendan I think look cool just but Gold and May are a little more meaningful as Gold was the first ever protagonist I played as and May was the first ever protagonist where I played as my own gender :)


    Rival-wise I've always liked Barry cause I find him absolutely hilarious; from the way he's always in a rush to the fact that he's always fining me money lol xD I also like Hugh, Brendan, Blue and Silver :)
