Hello to everyone. Most of you might not remember me, but I used to be real active on this forum until I got addicted to my PS3. I'm now getting back into competitve Pokémon battles and have just finished a team blueprint. I really would like some feedback and I want all of the help you can give as I wish to take this team to the big leagues of GameBattles. Note that none of these Pokémon have become eggs and I have not EV trained them so this means I can take each smart suggestion into consideration. Now onto the team:

    Team at a Glance

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*
    Weavile @ Choice Band
    Pressure / Jolly Nature
    EVs: 252 ATK / 216 SPD / 40 HP
    - Ice Shard
    - Night Slash
    - Brick Break
    - Pursuit

CBWeavile whose main focus is Revenge Killing, but I did have one that could totally destroy a team.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*
    Salamence @ Leftovers
    Intimidate / Bold Nature
    EVs: 252 HP / 220 DEF / 36 SPD
    - Draco Meteor
    - Flamethrower
    - Toxic
    - Roost

BulkyMence posted by Azelf. Currently thinking about thrid slot support move.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*
    Infernape @ Life Orb
    Blaze / Naïve Nature
    EVs: 252 Sp. ATK / 232 SPD / 24 ATK
    - Nasty Plot
    - Flamethrower
    - Close Combat
    - Grass Knot

MixedApe. Not new to me so I don't really need any help with him.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*
    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Natural Cure / Timid Nature
    EVs: 216 SPD / 172 HP / 120 Sp. ATK
    - Ice Beam
    - Recover
    - Thunderbolt
    - Surf

Boltbeaming Starmie. Used to be Spinning until Forry came into the party.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*
    Forretress @ Leftovers
    Sturdy / Relaxed Nature
    EVs: 252 HP / 162 ATK / 96 DEF
    - Rapid Spin
    - Gyro Ball
    - Spikes
    - Rest

My defensive wall and rapid spinner. Rest > Explosion because for one he's my physical wall and two I get Aromatherapy support from Blissey.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*
    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Natural Cure / Calm Nature
    EVs: 252 DEF / 216 Sp. DEF / 40 HP
    - Aromatherapy
    - Thunder Wave
    - Softboiled
    - Seismic Toss

I found this set a couple of days ago. I enjoyed the news that this Blissey can handle any Sp.ATK with ease without it takeing a lot away from HP and DEF. I've had thoughts of Replacing TWave with Ice Beam just so I have another offensive move.

Also, I have a feeling that I have a major weakness to something or somethings, but I can't put my finger on it. Any help on replacements would be nice.

Um...this team kind of doesn't have a physical wall :0 Bronzong can't really handle most physical threats...Heracross, Infernape, Garchomp, etc.

Lawl, this is incredibly similar to my old team. Except i run Roar/Hp Ice/T-Bolt/Roost Bold defensive Zapdos >> Weavile to deal with Breloom and Heracross and DD mence or Jolly no guard Machamp >>Specs mence.

That zong is awesome try SR/Gyro ball/EQ/Rest << Works like a charm

Looks really nice though, however watch out for those Flamethrower/Cross Chop/HP Ice/Thunderbolt E-Vires.

I would disagree it looks nice since nothing can switch in to a number of threats. Garchomp is one as well as Salamence (non specs). Heracross is also a big pain and Gallade and Medicham are even more annoying. Mixed Vire is a pain, as is physical Infernape. Dragonite and Tyranitar also can cause havoc.

With all of those weaknesses, I'm not ready to call this team solid just yet.

Can't belive I forgot a physical wall. Bronzong was in the team because I thought I had a filler space so I thought he could be useful.

Looks like I'm more rusty that I thought. It's a good thing I came here before doing anything with the team. I would probally have an easier time if you would provide some Pokémon that could fix all of these weaknesses instead of telling me what they are. I haven't rated a team in a long time, but I do know a bad rater is one who doesn't offer a solution. The physical wall comment in your first post was helpful, but just telling me what I'm weak to with no help to the problem just waste my time with an unhelpful post.

If I could get some suggestions on a good physical wall that would be helpful. I want to stand clear of Skarmory if I can help it because it's become way to common and everyone has at least one Pokémon on their team that can knock it out.

I'd run Ice Shard for the priority move on CBVile.

You really shouldn't be that worried about HP Fire Magnezone, as it can't really harm Bronzong that much, unlike Skarmory, and it also carries EQ.

Nobody really keeps Weavile in on Heracross and others, so Night Slash > AA..

Consider Weeing / Gliscor over Brozong, as this team is pretty Hera weak. CC can do a lot since Bronzong takes nuetral damage from it. Speaking of Hera, Scarf one can outspeed Weavile, no matter how Choice Scarf Heracross sucks.

    EDIT: Welcome back, btw.

I agree with the Ice Shard thing, a OHKO on Garchomp, especially those Scarf chomp and dragon dancers will leave you thankful for it.

Sadly Magnet rise and sub on Magnezone screws over zong, i Shed Shell mine and it works ok with rest.

Okay, I've been looking at physical walls for a little while and I'm going to run with Itachi's suggestion and go with Gliscor. He's one of my favorite tanks so I'm sure I can run him well. Move set is going to look like:

    Gliscor @ Leftovers
    Sand Viel / Impish Nature
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 DEF / 6 ATK
    - Roost
    - Aerial Ace
    - Taunt / Stealth Rock
    - Earthquake

Still debating on the third slot. I think Taunt is going to win this battle, but I would still like a thought on what might be the better choice. Since I'm trading Bronzong with Gliscor I'll lose my SR move, but I have a feeling that it's not something that will help me too much. Taunts a good choice for stopping Skarmory from laying down any unwanted Spikes on my side.

Also, for my Weavile. It's going to be Ice Shard > Ice Punch and Night Slash > AA.

Stealth Rock is far superior. Taunt...I'm no fan of it. Still, that's a "personal preference" deal.

Also Scarf Cross doesn't suck, it's just grossly inferior to its other sets.

and I too agree with Itachi and Azelf, Ice shard would be excellent (I see you've made that change). AA isn't needed anyways, so it's nothing huge to worry about ;)

also, I would say Weavile is a better lead than SpecsMence.

I think I've run into a new problem. I may be wrong, but do I look Wevile weak to anyone else? I really don't think Gliscor is going to be able to take a hit from him with his x4 ice weakness. The only way I can think of countering him is replacing someone with Bulkydos.

BulkyDos would be fine, although you could fit in a random Steel such as Metagross, Scizor, Bronzong, Forry, Jirachi etc. They help loads with Weavile.

Forry is the best, since nothing hits him for SE damage, and Fortress just laughs at Weavile, and says, "Have a taste of my Gyro Ball, Weavile. Mwahaahaha!"

Hey now.. Garchomp can easily survive an Ice Shard considering it's incredible bulk, All it needs are a few HP EV's

Lack of Physical Wall, yep there's your problem =) Try something like.. Forretress and remove Rapid Spin on Starmie

Yep. And I'm pretty sure he knows what to put over Rapid Spin... IB. Also laughs at Garchomp switching in, and says, "You're hungry for SD? Eat this, you shark!"

Choice Band Ice Shard ohko's 16 HP / 0 DEF Garchomp, and is especially nice for Dragon Dancers and most importantly, Scarf Chomp.

Lack of physical wall? We fixed that problem by replacing Bronzong with Gliscor.

I don't mind running Forry since he's one of my favorites also. Are we suggesting that I run him over Gliscor though?

Well, your team is pretty Hera Weak.

Salamence works well for non-Stone Edge variants, with Intimidate, it Isn't a OHKO, though.

Yeah, that's why we add Gliscor to take care of Hera. I've probally run my self into a hole now.

I'm pretty confused about this myself, so you're not only the only one.

You could always try to switch Ape in on Ice Shard, it will be stuck, and then CC it. But most of the time, you'll just have to catch it on the switch with a CC, though.
