Toxic is pretty good, and for the people who don't use clerics, It's a monster. :O Protect I can't really see doing anything effectively, try Thunderbolt / Ice Beam / whatever over it.

Protect allows you to stall out and get a Wish Heal, because you don't have Softboiled, and with Toxic wearing your opponent down, Protect adds to it. Flamethrower hits steels like Skarm and Forry that are resistent to Toxic.

I know, I was backing you up stating that Focus Sash suckss since few things run it effectively, FS sucks for the reason you gave.. But Wish Support on Blissey if you can run it effectively is pretty nice as well.

Yeah but your example stated that SD Weavile is a good focus sasher when it obviously isn't :0

Oops yeah, Registeel, really? Im not sure how well he;d stand up to a brick break. Forretress might not resist rock, but he'll take a rock hit pretty well.

CBtar 2HKOs forretress with Stone edge. that's reason enough to carry a rock resist.

Regirock can take even Brick Break from Weavile easily and drill it into the ground. Regirock doesn't have many useful resistances though besides Normal.

EDIT: Steelix works to laugh at Weavile and has a double rock resist.

Well the only Poke thats weak to rock is Weavile, why is it even so important? I think that the rock issue isn;t THAt important, the bigger issue is stopping Weavile.

You need a rock resist because CBmence, CBtar, and sweepers like that hammer you. If you can't switch into CBtar you're in deep trouble. For example, how are you supposed to beat Aerodactyl? Seriously CB Stone Edge from Tar 2HKOs Skarm, enough of a reason for me to use a Rock Resist.

There are a lot of rock resists that flatten weavile. Metagross works very well in that regard. Swampert is also cool but takes a lot from Ice Punch.

Hmm, would Weezing work? I suppose not, even though it stops Weavile and can burn CBtar and other sweepers for lowering attack. Swampert could go in for Gliscor, but that kind of dimishes my defense.

Um Vaporeon isn't really necessary here so maybe put in a rock resist there.

Really a steel wall in general would help you here, because they have so many resistances. Forry/Skarm and Swampert over Gliscor/Vappy could work. I mean, Grumpig murders Infernape :0

Teams are much harder to run without rock resists really. That's why we love Bulky grounds.

Vaporeon is staying because I've fallen in love with it. I'll put Cursepert in over Gliscor, that gives me defense and a rock resist.
