I dont like stall teams. Its just that offensive teams are way too easy to build and use and building stall and battling with it at least gives me a challenge.

So yeah i made a stall again, what of it lol ?

    Team Overview

    *image removed**image removed**image removed**image removed**image removed**image removed*

    Team in Depth.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT UU] Dont Touch That Azelf There, Dark ! <---My new username ^_^

    ------
Registeel @ Leftovers **Lern 2 wall.
    Ability: Clear Body
    EVs: 252 HP/58 Atk/112 Def/88 SDef
    Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)

    • Toxic

    • Stealth Rock

    • Ice Punch

    • Hammer Arm
My lead and pretty much standard, who also sets up the ever broken Stealth Rock. Toxic for wearing down bulky stuff and fliers which Toxic Spikes wont hit, whilst Ice Punch is for coverage on foe Altaria and what not in addition to breaking mismags subs. Hammer Arm has good coverage with Ice and pimp smacks that idiot Clefable etc around. Evs are kinda random but meh they do their job, they grant 200 Att and 400 Def, for some reason.

    ------
Altaria (M) @ Leftovers **Lern 2 uber Goose.
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 248 HP/94 Def/56 SAtk/112 SDef
    Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)

    • Roost

    • Dragon Pulse

    • Heal Bell

    • Perish Song
I love this thing, its very reliable and has never let me down. Dragon Pulse for STAB pretty much. Heal Bell is to get rid of status since i lack a status absorber and i hate them in general since they suck and i can never get them to work, Perish Song destroys last pokemon sweeps, baton pass chains and is a general PHazing move. The evs grant me odd hp to round down SR damage, rest of the evs are kinda random, but w.e they work.
    ---
[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT UU] Dont Touch That Azelf There, Dark ! <---My new username ^_^

    ------
Cloyster (M) @ Leftovers **Lern 2 Rapid Spin
    Ability: Shell Armor
    EVs: 248 HP/24 Def/238 SDef
    Bold nature (+Def, Atk)

    • Toxic Spikes

    • Spikes

    • Rapid Spin

    • Ice Beam
As much prowess as Cloyster has lost this gen than in the first 3, its still very useful if you know his strengths (DD Altaria counter) and one of my fav pokes. Dual Spikes is amazing and grants me more residual damage and since he has epic defense Cloyster has quite a few chances to at least get one layer in. Rapid Spin to remove their entry hazards whilst Ice Beam is its best STAB move and deters grass types from coming in. Evs again grant odd hp to round down Stealth Rock damage and you have no idea on how much the sp.def evs help coming in on random surfs, it already has enough def anyways lol.

    ------
    Spiritomb (M) @ Leftovers ** Lern 2 Pokemoning.
    Ability: Pressure.
    EVs: 252 HP/44 Atk/108 Def/106 SDef
    Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)

    • Sucker Punch

    • Toxic

    • Pain Split

    • Taunt

Anti Spin and anti fighter. Pain Split is its best method of healing so yeah im stuck with that (I guess i could go rest due to me having a cleric, but im unsure, since its kinda a free switch in and i rely on this for alot). Toxic wears down things like fire types expecting a W-o-W and is a good move to wear down spinners and anything really. Taunt stops things setting up on me and can sometimes cause switches. In addition Taunt works well with Sucker Punch since it pretty much forces them to attack me thus getting smacked by it. Speaking of sucker punch, its a strong STAB move and priority is always nice to have. This >>>>>> Rest Talk tomb anyday.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT UU] Dont Touch That Azelf There, Dark ! <---My new username ^_^

    ------
Poliwrath@Leftovers ** Lern 2 not stat up first turn in a match. =/
    252 HP / 164 Atk / 92 Def
    Impish Nature
    Trait : Water Absorb

    • Haze

    • Toxic / Waterfall

    • Brick Break

    • Ice Punch / Waterfall
Lol Rain Dance Lol. Poliwrath is another favourite, i can never make a team without him or Quagsire (Whom occupied this slot earlier, but i replaced it with Poli due to NP Houndoom). Probably because of the omnipresent threat rain dance poses and how good he is at stopping it. Toxic wears stuff down pretty much. Haze is just here because i lack a true PHazer so it will have to do (I am a HUGE fan of Haze btw keke). Brick Break is for STAB and Ice Punch is for coverage, especially on those damn grass types that like to come in. Waterfall is for mainly Armaldo whilst gaining STAB. I guess i could make the ev spread more bulky, but eh idk how to really ev this thing.

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT UU] Dont Touch That Azelf There, Dark ! <---My new username ^_^

    ------
Hypno (M) @ Leftovers **Lern 2 not use set up fodder like Chansey.
    Ability: Insomnia
    EVs: 252 HP/56 Atk/200 SDef
    Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)

    • Wish

    • Protect

    • Zen Headbutt

    • Seismic Toss
Yeah my Wish passer and special wall/tank. I havent used this guy in ages, not since the old UU. Anyways, Wish helps things with no recovery and helps my team last longer in general. Protect activates Wish for myself, allows me to scout and stalls out turns of weather *looks at Luke*. Zen Headbutt if for STAB and does more damage to things like Ninetails and Venusaur etc, whilst Seismic Toss is for consistent damage and racks up damage nicely with all my Spikes.
    ---

    No weaks.

    XD

    • Biggest problem that has shown in practice is that i have 2 SR weak pokes. I can get around it, but it IS annoying.
    • Toxic Spikes hurt me badly in theory, but i can usually handle it via Spinning with Cloyster and then heal belling the toxic away with Altaria. I know its hard and time consuming, but yeah.

Rate away, i know this needs ALOT of help and needs some of the rough edges smoothing out. It is no where near one my best teams (hence why i posted it), but thats where you guys come in, right ?

So in short, i need mental help x]

The lack of an electric resist makes things like Specs/Mixed Manetric or NP Raichu sound like a huge threat to this team. Registeel can take 1 or 2 as needed, but they're at least going to cause you problems. I'm probably underestimating the tanking abilities of your team, but it's still something that deserves a mention.

Based off of what you taught me from Stall, I fail to see any response to T-Spikes outside of Altaria. It messes up Poliwrath, Hypno, Tomb, and Cloyster. It can be a big annoyance, especially when Altaria goes down. Since you also lack an Electric Resist, you could opt for a Roserade or support Nidoqueen to stop T-Spikes and grant you an Electric Resist.

Rapid Spin + then Heal Bell has done the job so far.

Do i really need an electric resist ? Raikou has been banned and well manectric (infact most special electrics) cant even 2hko Hypno and i can just get that to ~50% and then sucker punch it with tomb too. Physical ones are either dealt with via prediction or cant get past regi.

I guess i could use EQ on Registeel > Hammer Arm to help.

Thing is, Roserade and Nido dont really fit in here...

~Shaymin isn't exactly a huge threat to your team but it can quite a little monster. Standard SpecsMin with HP Ice/Seed Flare/Earth Power/Air Slash will be quite a threat. With 299 Speed, no one in your team can outrun it and it can dish out some fair damage.

    Earth Power on 252 HP/ 88 SpD Relaxed Registeel - 50.00% - 58.79%(Clean 2HKO)
    HP Ice on 248 HP/112 SpD Calm Altaria - 95.47% - 112.18%(Nearly always a OHKO)
Seed Flare on 252 HP/106 SpD Impish Spiritomb - 77.26% - 90.97%(Possible OHKO with SR)

~These 3 don't enjoy taking hits from SpecsMin. Poliwhirl and Cloyster are Seed Flare weak so I won't bother for them(for Cloyster it'll be like 180%-256% I bet) Hypno even takes huge chunks from Seed Flare.

    Seed Flare on 252 HP/200 SpD Calm Hypno - 49.58% - 58.45%(Usually a 2HKO)

~Specs can be a prediction game but hax can always kick in and drop your SpD two levels which will be even worse. Most of this is situational but I thought I'd point it out.

    ~Excellent team overall.

For Cloyster id add on another 500%, he cant take anything special not named Powder Snow from a Delibird lol (Does Hustle affect special moves ? If it does i retract my statement XD)

Anyways I can usually outpredict junk like this, since prediction IS my forte, so yeah.

    Hey, it's better than this.

Okay, so let's look at the team. You've got a sexy bulky Water, a Ghost, a Sp. Wall, a Steel, a Rapid Spinner, a utility Spiker, a fluffy bird who walls the hell out of Ninetales, and basically just a lot of defensive synergy. Wonderful, your defense is up, and, oddly, you have enough offense (mostly supplied by Poliwrath and Altaria to a lesser extent) to keep stat-up sweepers from becoming ridiculous. Looks like you're all set to go and conquer the UU metagame, and one day walk up to Eo Ut Mortus and 6-0 him...But wait!

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT UU] Dont Touch That Azelf There, Dark ! <---My new username ^_^

Yeah, this walking continent wants to say hello to your team, especially if Spiritomb is under 60%. Wood Hammer and Earthquake 2HKO Spiritomb as well (with SR for the latter of course). Your whole team falls to it once it gets in a Rock Polish essentially. In late game with SR up, and everything has taken a bit of damage. The worst part of this is that nothing bar bulky Grass-types truly counter it. There are, however, a few ways you can outstall it, namely removing Toxic for Will O Wisp on Spiritomb. Once burned, you can have something like Cloyster come in and OHKO with Ice Beam (beware though, even a burned Wood Hammer can do a bit, and with Stealth Rock up, you'll be losing a lot to handle a crippled threat). WoW also helps with a lot of other things, especially with those annoying threats like SD ___ that just rip things apart when given the chance to SD up. You have T-Spikes already, and most of the things not hit by it are usually pretty much owned by the rest of your team.

Okay, so now Spiritomb is packing some fire power (really bad pun, I apologize) to deal with Torterra. Your squad advances, destroying teams left and right (but alas, you lose to Encore Kadabra, don't worry, it happens to all of us). Just as your about to reach the leaderboard, ANOTHER threat emerges from the depths:

[PokeCommunity.com] [RMT UU] Dont Touch That Azelf There, Dark ! <---My new username ^_^

No, it's not Anti (though he IS fat). Hariyama is pretty much unable to be stopped once it gets in on T-Spikes. Choice Banded Stone Edge OHKOs Altaria, Close Combat stops Cloyster, Poliwrath, and Registeel. Payback slams Spiritomb on the switch, although Stone Edge is more reliable and still 2HKOs easily. Hypno is too weak to even be mentioned. So, what can you do to stop it? Well, not much can stop it really, so that's not your fault. You just have to use prediction to avoid getting slammed, and hopefully use Registeel and Spiritomb in conjuction (once Spiritomb goes down Close Combat tears through your team. Spiritomb is more likely to go down assuming the Hariyama user is skilled and Paybacks the first turn). I can't reccomend any real precautions, as nothing truly counters him (nothing really viable honestly), so just try your best, and HOPE and PRAY Torterra + Hariyama don't end up on the same team. You better pray...

Okay, so you overcame Hariyama and are now at the top of the leaderboard, what's left to do? Well, nothing else. Just sit back, relax, and brag about your shoddy ranking until Honchkrow comes and sweeps you:

    Hey, it's better than this.

    I agree XD

Well there are a few things i could do to sort that Torterra problem. (I hoped people wouldnt notice :x)

Since im not really a fan of W-o-W cos it conflicts with T-Spikes. I was thinking (I know its kinda novelty) but Hidden Power Ice on Spiritomb >> Toxic or Taunt might go along way to helping.

Ice Shard might help on Cloyster too but on not really a fan of that, i mean it does do like 60%, but meh.

Swords Dance Torterra is admittedly worse to me, ill think of something to cover that...hmm. Altaria gets Ice Beam and outspeeds standard SD Torterra, so yeah. =/

    Thanks for the rate. ^^

I honestly don't know much about UU, but I do know that having a tank/spiker (like Cloyster) that's so weak to SR isn't good, 25% on the switch-in (even with rapid spin) is quite a deterrence. I would consider switching Cloyster with Omastar. Something like:

    Omastar@Lefties
Swift Swim (if you want another benefit against rain dance teams) or Shell Armor (pure tanking)
    Bold, 252 HP, 252 def, 4 SpA
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Rapid Spin
    Toxic Spikes/Spikes

A STAB surf really hurts and Ice Beam can still cover Altaria and other dragons. Lets you keep one set of spikes and a rapid spin.

    But i want both spikes.

Omastar also doesnt get Rapid Spin.

To help a little with your RP Terra and Hairymama weaks, why not run a Bulky Shaymin? It also gets you an Electric Resist. Aroma/SF/Air Slash/ Rest.

Yes because Shaymin definately handles Hariyama.

Yes because Shaymin definately handles Hariyama.

    Uhh.... oh... it doesn't

Seed Flare does around 43-48%, and Air Slash does around 33-38% to max HP Hairymama. So yeah, not really, unless Hariyama switches in, and why would it lol?
