So yeah, getting shoddy has got me trying out a lot of different teams. As of now my favorite kind of team is stalling, especially in UU. This team's been doing pretty well for me as of now (16 wins to 9 losses at last count), I just want some extra help.

    The Line Up:

    In Detail:

    "image removed"@Leftovers/Lum Berry
    Relaxed
    252HP/252SpDef/6Att
    Stealth Rock
    Curse
    Earthquake
    Gyro Ball

After about 10 minutes of playing UU I'd seen so many free-hit ambipom and persian that I was ready to punch the wall. This guy remedies that while establishing the first layer of entry hazards and hitting them hard with STAB gyro Ball. Fake out and U-Turn hardly touch him. After "enduring" the obligatory opening fake out, I set up rocks. I curse up if whatever's in can't touch me.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*@Leftovers
    Bold
    252HP/80Def/176SpDef
    Shadow Ball
    Will-O-Wisp
    Rest
    Sleep Talk

Spin blocker, status absorer #1 and Fighting immunity. EVs make for general defences while Will-O-Wisp cripples physical sweepers. Shadow Ball for STAB, although I'm considering Dark Pulse since normal types that ignore me are getting on my nerves.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*@Leftovers
    Bold
    252HP/252Def/6SpDef
    Softboiled
    Aromatherapy
    Thunder Wave
    Seismic Toss

I'm cheap and use an NFE Blissey. Maxed defence/HP because this thing can't take physical hits half as well as blissey can and there's no specsluke to worry about breahing my SpDef. Status absorber #2 and special wall.

    "image removed"@Leftovers
    Impish (Rivalry)
    252HP/252Def/6Att
    Toxic Spikes
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Roar

Sets up second set of entry hazards and PHazes. Rivalry abuses how shoddy sets the gender to male and I have two ways of poisoning stuff already.

    "image removed"@Leftovers
    Bold
    252HP/252Def/6SpAtt
    Spikes
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Rest

3rd layer of entry hazards and bulky water. Arcanine was annoying me so this works as a semi-counter, absorbing pretty much anything from the CB set (CB thunderfang does 41% max) and pretty much everything it has apart from HP. Rest for recovery to be used in conjuction with aromatherapy.

    "image removed"@Toxic Orb
    Careful
    252HP/252SpDef/6Att
    Softboiled
    Trick
    Meteor Mash
    Facade

I love this thing. It screws opposing attempts at stalls and hits pretty hard too. Toxic Orb+Trick shares the poisonous love with anything that floats above my spikes aswell as giving me immunity from less beneficial afflictions. Softboiled for recovery, Meteor mash for ghosts/rocks (The attack boosts are always handy too) and facade after status boosts and STAB hits with a base power higher than that of an unSTAB'd selfdestruct, which isn't to shabby.

So yeah, that's about it. My current worry is the lack of ground resist/immunity, so I'm leaning towards a dual screen uxie but I don't know where to put it. Thoughts?

Usually a stall team also has the Spikes and a Wish Suporter, if Spiritomb ends K.O you have an enormous weakness to the Fighting type.
Omastar thing makes of Rest? I would try to give Wish to Chansey or Clefabe.

Curse is not necessary on Steelix. I'd drop it for either Roar or Toxic. You may ask "Why would I use Toxic when my team utilizes Toxic Spikes". The reason for it is because some Pokemon (Mismagius, Moltres, etc...) are immune to T-Spikes, and can continuously set up and stop you. Roar helps with Moltres, making it unable to switch in and set up. For this team, however, I feel Toxic is the better choice. Personal preference, really.

If you've got Aromatherapy on Chansey...there's no reason for a ResTalker. Drop Sleep Talk on Spiritomb with either HP Fight or even Psych Up. You may question the use of Psych Up, but in all honesty, it's the best way Spiritomb can counter Mismagius (unless you use Pursuit + Sucker Punch, another excellent set of moves). It can also help with random stuff like CurseLix.

Clefable + Chansey is redundant, remove one for a Rapid Spinner. Preferably one that can also handle Kabutops, since currently it rips you a new one (especially if Omastar is asleep). Blastoise can handle it decently, it spins, it can Roar, it can also Haze, one of the most underrated moves in the game. It screws BP teams over worse than Roar, since they can't prevent it with Ingrain (a staple on most Baton Pass teams).

Good team otherwise, have fun with it.

    4 fighting weak, 2 resist/immune. i c i c.

wanna be careful for blaziken. most sets nowadays are choice but if you happened to run into a subattack set, your team would be in deep doodoo.

definitely drop one of the fairies, yo. uxie's def awesome. must use.

rest on omastar? aaaagh i dunno, i wouldn't do it anywhere other than a sandstorm team. i mean, i HATE sandstorm teams but exposing it elsewhere is really kinda pointless. besides, using it in conjuction with blissey jr would mean that it blissey provides it with some resist or defensive coverage, which it doesn't.

be careful for instant stat boost sets like Bellydrum Poliwrath who will just rip through.

Kangaskhan with Scrappy, Brick Break/Focus Punch and EQ really hurts this team. I suppose Chansey, Steelix, Clefable, and Nidoqueen could survive it, but there's nothing the former two can do to Kangaskhan. (And even with Nidoqueen it would need Counter to really hurt Khan). Tomb doesn't stand a chance with one STAB nulled and being weak to Brick Break.

Swellow can also hurt this team, but will have a hard time with Steelix and Omastar. Facade massacres half of your team (and would even do significant damage to Omastar) and Brave Bird hurts Spritomb.

An Espeon with Calm Mind and standard set for sweeping (Psychic/Shadow Ball/HP Fighting) can absolutely crush your team after a single CM. (and after two or three, you have no hopes left). Steelix is essentially setup fodder for Espeon so it should have no problems sweeping your team.

And Choice Scarf Medicham? Oh dear, hope you never run into one of those either.

And Rivalry only increases attack power when the Pokemon is of the SAME gender. Therefore under the assumption that you made, your attack power would almost always be 75% of what it should be. (ps. use Poison Point)

And TSpikes is just a horrible strategy for two reasons:
1- If your spiker faints with only one set of tspikes down, then every Pokemon will be only regularly poisoned. Which is bad because-
2- You can't paralyze, sleep, burn, or freeze your opponents.

Omastar and Steelix lol at it, therefore he isnt weak to it.

Chansey tanks over it, t-wave/toxic and s-toss utterly destroy and cripple it.

    Spiritomb >> Medicham.

    >_>, it really isnt horrible and is the basis of all good stall teams.

On that note, just stick to Toxic, conflicting status is not the way to go.

But yeah Rivalry is the most ass ability ever, if i looked up "ass" in the dictionary id be willing to bet Rivaly would be there.

Aromatherapy cures status so Sleep Talk is unnessacary and I still recommend you invest some SpD EV's on Chansey.

    Good team :)
