Ice Beam >> Counter, most physical stuff wont hit blissey directly they will stat up, and if you use counter, they will catch on and just DD/Swords Dance up untill they will 100% OHKO you.

Or they switch out. HP Ice isn't really necessary on Gengar in all honesty. Shadow Ball is much better to use than a lousy mock boltbeam IMO.

Well he ISN'T running Choice Specs and Walls don't switch out, they switch in

Exactly what do you mean lousy mock boltbeam? Surely enough, I'd nearly an Electivire, only attacking with Sp. Attacks. Sleep allows Gengar to deal more damage to walls, one Shadow Ball won't be necessary on walls. Heck, Focus Blast deals as much as a STAB Shadow Ball

As I mentioned above, this Gengar set is nearly like an Electivire set, and what does Electivire do to teams? To make up for the lack of attacking mixed, Gengar has Hypnosis
