Sorry I think you might be wrong or the page I use is wrong, it can only have trace, download or analytic, that's from serebii.

You'll have to breed a porygon with ability trace. When porygon is evolved into porygon Z , trace turns into the adaptability ability . If he doesn't want porygon z he will need to let you know another ability
