Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time series" Graphic Adaptation

My god.... I'm terribly afraid this is going to murder the books, I've only just finished the first one, but i love it so very much. It is so beautiful and well written, and so.. amazing, and astonishing. Any kind of video will murder it -.-

They'd better do it well. The Wheel of Time is one of my favorite series of all time, and if they screw it up, I'm going to be so angry. But it does have the potential to be great, just imagine finally being able to actually see some of that amazing imagery Robert Jordan can summon... But they still better not screw up...

Re:

Believe me my friends, these graphic novels are going to be excellent! When Robert Jordan was alive, my brothers and I worked directly with him to bring New Spring into graphics and he loved our work and we've only become better since then. Plus he left us extensive notes to adapt the Wheel of Time. I had a chance to see some artwork so far and they are amazing! They will be shown at San Diego Convention, but once I get back from the Con, I will post them here for your viewing pleasure :) So please stay tuned and be prepared to be amazed!

Okay! I'll be waiting. (and in the meantime, be reading all my other books)

And I thought I could break my addiction to comic books. I really did. It was supposed to end with Serenity: Better Days. And yet, here we are. I'm very much looking forward to this, having seen what was done with The Hedge Knight and The Sworn Sword. Jordan's work is in good hands.

While I'd very much like this to be a TV show or movie, this is still the next best thing!

I really am excited...I'm reading book 2 now, and it's starting to get good!

Re:

I'm still re-reading chapter 1 and am enjoying it! Can't wait until I re-read chapter 2 :)

Maybe now it will answer my questions on what Rand, Mat, Perrin, Moiraine, and the others really look like.
