I dont have much idea about rom hacking. But since I started playing GBA ROM HACKS I wondered if it was possible to make ROM that will follow entire the journey of Ash through all 7 regions. Can anybody let me know if it is possible? If it is not. Then why? But if it is possible then why is there no GBA ROM like this?

    THANK YOU.

    1. The Game Boy Advance is at least a little resource-constrained - you can't go above 32MB of cartridge ROM without custom hardware (at which point you might as well write a game from scratch since you'd be doing some major rearchitecting). Seven regions is potentially a lot of maps; can they fit in that space?
    2. How do you make seven regions interesting to play through? Pokemon is at its core a shounen game about going from zero to hero. I suspect the player will get either really bored of doing the same thing over and over again to fill out the level curve or frustrated at having their progress yanked away from them again and again so they can play through yet another region.

Does the 11 beta of Pokemon adventures red chapter count?
