    Hey,
I was browsing past the ROM Hacking sections where I noticed that there was a hacked ROM, it's be hosted on a site that lets you play in browser without downloading or installing anything. To my knowledge this is still linking to a ROM and seems very illegal.
I've reported it but I could easily see it being a trend if not caught on to.

I've been on Vizzed dozens of times (this being before I had access to mobile emulators) and I did see a few "hacked" or user-created ROMs. I wouldn't worry too much because there's a good chance the authors of the hacks gave permission (they are free to download here, so they should be free to distribute) to use it.

Note that this website isn't making any monetary gain for what we know (besides ads and domain and such) so it's not a problem at all. This is only a site for people who are sketched out about emulators being viruses or illegal to use, and just a fun program.

We don't need to police this, do we? And if it is breaking rules, then the site should be banned by the internet powers that be.

It's a grey area as it isn;t the hacker that should be given credit or whatever, but the original ROM creators i.e. Nintendo. It's a very grey area, as technically you are not downloading a ROM but it has the content on the site which is still really weird in terms of legality. I'd say it's risky, maybe a moderator would be better at this though.

Yeah I thought it would be linking to ROMs but I just wanted some confirmation that it is a breaking of the rules.
