seems like you like the idea of shiny larvitar xD

er there's a little problem, I want to insert a level script so that the girl will get a question mark and then step to you, afterwards it will explain that there are earthquakes.
But..I don't know how to make level scripts and I can't find a tutorial O.o
I've heard about one of teh baro, but it's on wack a hack and I can't speak spanish or whatever -.-'
Is it possible to translate the site?

edit: found an internet site which does it, I'm learning level scripts now :)

i've got an idea, but it would be hard work (in fact hard work for ME xD)
i think changing all the trainersprites (well not all, but the main sprites) would make our game more original!:)
e.g. new lass, new youngstars etc. which in fact look in every region different and so i want do.

i create a lass and a youngstar for example, so you could see what i mean, you could decide whether you like the idea or not. i also thinked about making new trainers, like "drunk man" or "gangster boy" "hiphop-boy" "pokemon rider" etc.

what do you think about that?

hehe great idea like ever, changing the sprites would be a great change to the hack, and everybody would recognize it..!

and I like the 2 example sprites ;)

But I have a problem, my level script doesn't work O.o
I'll have to ask thex4..but how often is he online -.-'

edit: what about B-Boy ? Would be a hiphoper standing on one hand xD

hey there
since I have to wait for a reply to my messages asking why my level script doesn't want to work, I tryed inserting a new sound.

Worked quite well, instead of the normal Pallet Town song there is now an old one (i think from gold or so, route 42).
Just wanted to try it out,if you don't like it I can make it normal again ^^ (by patching again xD).
And if you want me to insert a special midi, tell me which (has to be .midi).

we'd need the .midi then, and at VGmusic there isn't this midi of DP (some others, but not this one. Futaba Town, Gym leader etc is there.).

We can even use GC sounds.
I found this great kirby .midi, the fight against king dididi xD
 
i think i could look for a program that converts mp3 into midi, so we could include some real music in our game xD or must it be a midi with a specific bitrate?

well ill go wakeboarding in half an hour... but ill be back at 5 pm or something like that, see you then

btw i did some wild pokemon header data, i think all routes til genesis cave, the forest and genesis cave

ill upload a new patch now for you

INFORMATION:

I'll go to a friend (same class as me) today at about 7 pm, then we will wait together till about 2 am.
go to the meeting point, drive to bradislava and go to london by plain.

I miss hacking even now O.o

But I think I'll hack the palette of the background when oak is speaking today, I can also hack the palette of the messages..!

is that part of your journey or does it cost less money?

and hacking the palettes would be cool, we should also change the tile palettes a bit

btw theres a new patch (15.1) at the shq, have fun

about the music..? great idea..! anyway what should we use for the region map..? the old GBA theme or the D/P theme?
 
we could use whatever we want, doesn't even has to be pokemon.
on VG-MUSIC
you can use the dropdown "Music Menu", then you will see consoles listet and you can choose between DS, GBA, PS"...
what you want ^^

So we could use G/S/C, B/R/Y, whatever we want to ^^

and neti: the flight from bradislava is much cheaper xD
 
yeah, and I now will check if it's possible to change the ragion map music without problems. we can choose afterwards.
edit: didn't find it in sappy, only the trainer card music O.o

We'll change the introduction of oak, and X-Buster thought of putting RED there instead of Oak (and I think it's a good idea ^^).

Now, what will RED talk about?
 
wow, great! changing the music? i have to say the best music is really from legend of zelda. but why don't every of us choose one music, that he like and then we insert them in every city? i love the zelda music, it's not only pokemon, so it's quite new! ^^
and the kyura region, i that the region after ryouhi? what are the plans with this x-buster?

EDIT: hm, for replacing oak with red we have to find a way to insert the hero/ine and we haven't even done this. but ok, something like:
