cause if you make a tool i could make a tut, i was searching for a subject to make a tut for and this seems to be a nice one
i could make a userbar tut as well, so not all hacks have the same ubar generator ubars... i dislike them :p

o.O Then they should state it in the thread. As for Music Hacking, i can only add the .s files with Sappy (Everybody can do it) into the game. I don't know how to use midi2agb very well :/
 
weve found a music inserter anyway, im just waitin for the proof that he actually manages to do it in a FR rom
ive sent him some middis taht he should in sert into a FR rom

well, i think theres also another person we need, database editor or sth like that, but i have no idea what his job is, ask XBuster
 
we don't need a Data Base Editor.. actually, i think we dont need someone anymore...
hmm.. do you think we need an ASM Hacker in our team..?

i dont know about asm, its a script editor like xse right? well MT or adiktus should answer that question

@SA: are you willing to make some running shoes for my hero and heroine?^^

edit: what happened to SA and ZetKa? i never see them online on icq/aim or on the forums

actually, asm means "assembler" and is a "programming language".
But programming language isn't really right, it's just compiles high level into low level language. You can change the whole gba prozessor with this thing, so you could change battle system, graphics, could add minigames etc...
But you have to know how to do it, it's not really easy.
As far as I know the gba prozessor is ARM, so we need someone to hack arm processors.
But I'm not sure about that, I don't know that much about asm.

Also, I could never try it because the goldroad assembler seemed to not work on my computer -.-'
Just like the debugger I wanted to use for the shiny hack...but there's a tool for it now xD
And btw, the first movement is fixed! I dunno why it didn't work, but with pause 0x10 it works. But now she's not running fluently, after the first step she keeps standing for not even a second, the rest is working. I think we could add a little thing like that:
She looks to the right, and talks to the player: Come on, follow me.
And then she runs off ^^
but we could also let it be like it is, then I'll just fix the other movement..which will likely also be not as fluently as it should be xD
 
if its not disturbing you can leave it like this
and you gotta fix some text when she gives you the enw pokedex:
you wrote "But..This is the old Firmware"
but it should be "But... This is the old Firmware"
one more dot and a space after it
also, sometimes you colored the text when lorelei speaks and sometimes not. just keep the black color all the time and color stuff like names.
 
kay I'll fix that today.
And guess what? The other movement is fixed perfectly, I just let the hero first go out of the way (one left, one up, looking down..yes, he's a gentleman xD) and lorelei went off afterwards. It looks good like this ^^
After all the colour stuff is fixed I'll send you the patch.
 
look what i inserted into my desert tileset^^
everything except for the big red building was done today^^ i also inserted side entrances for caves and 2 trees, now i have 6 :p and i have 5 rocks and 6 types of grass

absolutely great!
They look really like in a desert, and the different rocks and grass types will keep the variation.
