I was trying to strengthen my Rotom on Pokemon Diamond to fight in Pokemon Battle Revolution, when I thought of something. Is Rotom a legendary Pokemon? Or is he just a one-in-the-game Pokemon like Riolu? I had thought he was a Legendary Pokemon, until I played Battle Revolution where it seems like everyone has one.

No rotom gets an egg. I have bout 5.

Not a legendary. Rotoms can breed.

Yess, Rotom can breed, and he is not a legendary Pokemon. He is just a regular Pokemon that happens to be next to the legendaries in the National Pokédex.

    This is quite a debate.

Rotom is in the section of the Pokedex where other legendaries are, and it also has legendary theme music when you battle it.

But the fact it can produce eggs of its own kind makes you wonder.

But I guess he's just decoration. He's not legendary.

i don't think rotom as a legendary. even though the way to catch him is kinda peculiar, his stats are meh and he is able to give off eggs in the amorphous group.

Manaphy is a legend, but can produce eggs.

But, to be considered a legend, you'd need legendary status. Like how mew has the DNA of all pokemon. You never hear about Rotom, besides "HE LIVES IN THE TV"

AJ, Manaphy cant produce eggs of its own kind though.

Rotom isnt really a legendary, he can breed, has a high catch rate and doesnt really have usual legendary stats.

And he is level 15! I mean if legendary then he is the legend of noobs.

    (I LOST MY POST!! >_<)

Anyway, what if he could be both in a little way. Bred with ditto: non-legendary. Only 1 to catch in game: legendary. Odd location: legendary. No gender: both. And I'm sure you can come up with a few more that vary. Oh and the horrible stats: What The Stove! definitely not the usual legendary stats! Non-legendary for that one obviously.

I guess that makes sense. The fact that it hacks a load of electronic devices is just about unreal though. I mean sure you can't do that IN the game, but it seems like that probably contributes, in a small amount, that people think of him as legendary. I do agree with the uncommon grouping though.
