I have found a way to unlock Ruby in Pokemon X/Y!
Step #1
Beat the elite 4 3 times
Step #2
Have 6 unknowns reprecenting the letter R.
Step #3
Use power saves to change language to japanese(If it already is that you don't have to change).
Step #4
Trade all the unknowns online.
Step #5
Erase your game(D-pad Up + X + B on title screen) and do one more time.
Step #6
Go to the Blazing chamber and use dig and you will transform.
