They did for some of XY, I doubt they're printing current sets thoughI didn't even know they printed them in Russian!
I have a couple of French cards. One was given to me buy a French player back in like 2005 at a tournament and the others I acquired in French because they were cheaper than English and in tournaments within the European region you can play cards written in any European language.Makes sense. Do you collect any in other languages? I recently found that I have several German ones in my childhood collection despite never having been to Germany.
I'm not sure Russia was ever heavily supported by TPCI, it seems like it was only a few sets and died off after a couple of years. I can't find anything about tournament support either. A lot of Eastern Europe is in a similar position. I have no idea why official support is so bad out that way. I spoke to a Romanian a while ago wanting to play and I checked out the local scene for them and there was absolutely nothing in the entirety of Romania. Part of it is that TPCI treats all of Europe (and the UK and RoI) as one autonomous region but only really seems to focus events in the UK and Western/Northern Europe. The only exception is Poland which does get a good bit of support. That fact that Kyurem is called Kurem in the Russian cards make it just sound wrong lol, but it's cool seeing someone collecting cards printed ondifferent languages! I never even saw TCG cards here in Russia since I moved here
