    Yea the show came on right after Paranoia agent last night on adult swim,so post your thoughts about the show

    It felt like something I would have watched in junior high, not something that should air so late at night on the weekends o_O It's just a show full of action; there's no real depth or complexity of plot. It's almost the type of show that people envision when they think about the stereotypical definition of anime. I don't really have much to say about it because there's not much to take from it.

    I just wish I hadn't stayed up for FLCL afterwards--my brain is in tatters.

    Only seen Episode 1, eh? The main characters are the HOLY guys. They're actually both protagonists and antagonists at the same time. And Episode 2 has almost NO fighting in it at all, just plot development.

    I've only watched the first ep, and that was a LONG time ago. O_o; Shall watch more some time.

    But Scryed pwns~

    I personally think it's going, well, nowhere. I havn't seen all the episodes, but a few here and there. It's just action.... more stuff, and action again. Except in Episode 2, I thought that was just plain dull.

    yeah, it wasnt that interesting. And did nayone notice the strange way the people look kinda like the ppl from Gundam Seed? That one smart girl looks like that smart captain in GS(I forgot the names already...) I think her name is like...Morue?(I cant spell either TT__TT)

    i wanted to see it so badly but my mom won't let me stay up that late. I've heard so much about it in Anime magizines and stuff. so what exactly was it about?

    Here's a summary: apparently sometime in the near future there's a horrible accident in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan which creates a barren, laweless area known as the Lost Ground. In the Lost Ground are mutated humans who can use spiritual powers known as Alter Users. They can do things like change matter, create machines from thin air, things of that nature, but the power varies from Alter User to Alter User. And the assumption of most normal people is that Alter Users are a vile and inhuman breed of people and that they are all dangerous thugs and outlaws. Anyway, a special military unit called HOLD was made to bring control to the Lost Ground, and there is a special elite group of good Alter Users in HOLD called HOLY who attempt to bring down the outlaw Alter Users of the Lost Ground. The show focuses on one of the supposed outlaws and one of the HOLY members, and displays their individual lives during the show. At least, that's the impression I get of it.

    And as a side note to people who are watching it, did anyone see that HOLY user whose power is speed? His name was Straight Cougar, aka Radical Good Speed...I fell out of my chair laughing that night when I heard his names because they're the most engrish names ever (if you don't know what engrish is, check www.engrish.com or another source.) It was hilarious XP

    Am I the only one wondering why the hell this isn't on Toonami instead? The show's shown absolutely NOTHING worthy of being on [adult swim]'s lineup. A couple of curses that can be changed like ass or bastard can be changed to less offensive and suitable words for Toonami. Seems more like Bandai's too lazy to make any changes considering they don't even put their own credits and leave the Japanese text for the opening and ending as is, rather than the usual using their own English text for credits. o_O

    But yeah, it's a fine show, but this is certainly not something worthy of being on [adult swim]. This should get sent to Toonami like YuYu Hakusho did.

    The guide on my television said that S-CRY-Ed was going to be an hour and a half tonight. Is it failing so badly that they think they have to run it three episodes at a time? I hope not...it may not be mature, but it's fun to watch in the same way that regular cartoons are ._.;

    I think it's because it was illustrated by the people of Gundam SEED. For some reasons, they are now switching from dense, weak, and immature boys to act before thinking jack***es.

    Yes...the Japanese can come up with quite some weird titles...S-CRY-Ed, Bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo-bo...weird....

    And S-CRY-Ed is actually the Romanization of the title at that. If you look at the rock the title is etched into at the beginning of the show, you can see the symbol for "su" and there are no hyphens o_o;
